I think I didn't get the room I paid for........seemed like it was just a standard double bed room. The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy.

The staff were friendly and to read the history of the building was amazing. So nice it was restored.

Initially thought breakfast wasnt much (when we registered we’re told it’s not a hot breakfast). But it turned out to be great! Lots of healthy choices. And we were quite happy with it.

Nice room. No carpet on the floor and one bed. Bedside tables on each side.

The room was fairly small - my son and I felt a little on top of each other, more suitable for a couple. For price, there are few amenities (pool, hot tub or something like that). Breakfast was passable. The hook on the back of my bathroom door fell out of the door when I hung my pants on it... :)

Friendy reception, clean facilities and great location, free parking, restaurant (Fionn McCools) had good food and a discount for staying at hotel was a nice bonus.

No parking, had to park at the grocery store overnight. The hotel has very few spots, nothing you can do. Most rooms, you have to go up and down stairs, elevator is only available for certain floors

Staff were maybe a little to friendly, I did not need so many personal details. Was only one staff member working when we checked in and about 4 people in line, she seemed very flustered and had a hard time keeping up with what was going on. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, it seemed that every time I went past the front desk they had a friend with them who was not a staff member, however it was hard to tell because none of them wore a uniform or anything representing the hotel or even professional looking. When checking in the staff member was wearing a camo hat and a winter jacket.

Room and hotel were nice and updated. Staff were friendly.

The soundproof of the room can be improved. There was a peel of the ceiling that caused the paint fell off on the table.

The location was prime. You’re close to the water, Mariposa Market and neat shops.

Do not recommend to disabled. I use a walker. Had to park behind building and walk to street entrance and go up a long concrete ramp. Hopefully salted and/or sanded if snowy or icy. If my husband had come with me I would have had to push him in his transport chair. Shower had no seat. Grab bar was on a sliding glass shower door… not very stable. Toilet was low and difficult to get on and off if your knees are weak or hurt.

Friendly staff. Nicely decorated for Christmas season. Excellent Continental breakfast. There is an entrance from Parking lot but only good if you can climb stairs. Parking lot well lit at night. Huge screen TV. Keurig with 6 choices to make including hot chocolate. Thermostat on wall and easy to reset if needed. Restaurant attached.

It was close to the waterfront and main attractions. Both wifi and breakfast were good. Staff were welcoming and there is free parking behind the property. There is a Metro grocery store, and a Shoppers Drug Mart in walking distance, which came in handy. We enjoyed beautiful fall colours by taking a nice, easy and relaxing walk along the waterfront.
