The kitchen emergency light did not work. The shower needed to have the showerhead turned or it sprays water onto the floor.

There was no washing machine either in the cottage or on site. This would have been more use to us than the dishwasher as wwe were travelling self catering.

It was a pretty cottage with bed/sitting room, kitchen area and bathroom. It was quiet and we were treated to visits by the local wild deer.

All but one of the sets of blinds needed repairing. The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. All the corners in the bathroom and kitchen were dirty.

Our cabin was oddly spaced out. Most dishes and microwave were all too high for me to reach and with no step stool made it hard for me to navigate. The frig made a really loud noise that actually woke me up at night.

Great location, we walked to the trails. Lots of space with comfy beds. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night. My friend forgot her laptop there and the staff went above and beyond to get it back to her. Exceptional service.

Sorry to complain but the darn hot tub was pretty noisy and it seemed to run far too often.

We had a cozy cabin with a natural gas stove, comfy couch and reasonably equipped kitchen. The real charm is that nothing is over the top - just practical, clean and functional.

Venetian blinds are aging; we had to raise them to open them as the slat tilting mechanism was worn. One kitchen paring knife, and it was very blunt! Two can openers; one didn't work, the other was cranky.

Liked having the combination lock; no keys to worry about. Location - top floor over office, so quiet.

There was a high window in the cottage that the sun shone into in the morning, aimed right at the bed and no way to block it. There's only room for one car at most cottages (not a big deal for us, but worth noting if you're traveling in a group). The only recycling dumpster was for cardboard only - we had to drive into town to find somewhere to drop off our recyclables. These are just minor quibbles. Not against the cottages, but an FYI for Ucluelet - most restaurants close around 8 and the latest closes around 10. If you're a night owl, Tofino stays open later.

Cozy, clean, and comfortable. Contactless check-in and checkout - instead of keys, they gave us a door code. Internet wasn't super fast but not sluggish, either - par for the course from a vacation spot. Bathroom was nice and having a fridge/kitchen (with microwave and oven) was nice as well. Despite being a relatively densely packed row of cottages, it wasn't loud. We didn't use the BBQ, but there is one on the porch. Great value compared to cost!

outdated and not so well equiped kitchen if you plan to cook by your own, cosmetic repairs carried out superficially, bathtub with bubble function with dirty nozzles (black residues/ not inviting to use), only text communication for check-in/ check-out possible (additional roaming cost for non-locals)

The kitchen could have been better equipped. As it was a cabin for two it came with two plates, two side plates, two cereal bowls and two large spoons, and two knives. As we ate at the cabin it meant frequently doing dishes which negated the need for the dishwasher. A setting for four would have been more useful.

The pull out couch (like most) was not very comfortable. I think it would be really beneficial if they had a foam top for it.

it was such a nice and quiet little village of cottages where you could have a whole place to yourself. It had everything you need to make a full meal for the family and the trails and beach’s near by. The private hot tub was such a lovely touch.

For the price that we paid I expected a little bit more. Floors did not feel clean and were a little sticky, pull out bed was very uncomfortable and super noisy.. It would have been nice if there was a fan in there, as it was very warm and muggy and can’t keep the windows open at night. Bathroom baseboards were very dusty and the back of the bathroom door seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned forever. The worst part was we forgot something in the room and when we called the office, the man said “the room is now occupied, and wasn’t willing to help, so I asked if he could please knock on the door and get it from the room. He replied rudely no I will be leaving the office in 5 minutes so I can’t do it. Call me tomorrow. This was at 3:45. I called again and said well my husband will be coming there to pick it up now as we’re taking the ferry in the morning. He didn’t sound pleased at all and said “don’t go to the room, I will get it for you and leave it outside the office. So how did he find the time to get it for us now? Was really disappointed with the way he spoke to me.

The place was cute, and cozy, with a dishwasher which was great. Along with fridge, microwave and stovetop. Nice forest view from balcony. Bed was super comfortable. Didn’t need to check in. Received a code to use on the door.
