The whole apartment was refinished since our visit last year. Clean & comfortable. Great value & location is ideal for us. Close to GREAT restaurants & shops. Close to one of the BEST Parks in the world & calm, quiet neighbourhood. EXCEPTIONAL!!!

It would be nice to have wheelchair accessibility into the hotel.

The property was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The only (small) drawback was that, what with the old-fashioned central heating, I could not turn the heat up as much as I wanted to - but in the end I was not cold. Maybe I did not need that level of heat after all. :)

The suites felt more like a condominium than a hotel - I definitely got the feeling of living like a local! The neighborhood of West End right next to Stanley Park is unparalleled in safety and convenience. And the mahogany furniture in the living room was nothing short of luxurious. The staff was friendly, the elevator vintage, and the office had an outstanding espresso machine!

Perhaps the elevator which was being restored and out of action during a power outage was a little difficult for people with mobility issues however this was beyond the staff's ability to change and was communicated very well. It is difficult to find something which could be improved as some apartments were in the process of being upgraded.

My friend and I were ungraded to a two bedroom apartment which was extremely comfortable. The rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. While the furniture and full kitchen were older, they were more than adequate and serviceable. The location was quiet and within walking distance to Stanley Park and grocery stores.

As we travelled in the off-season, several renovation projects were ongoing, and the electricity was off for six or seven hours because the local Hydro company was making extensions just outside the hotel. We were off-site for the electrical work, so it did not inconvenience us.

We were at a very central location and within an easy walk of Stanley Park, where we made several visits on foot and by car, including the Aquarium. The main downtown area was easy to reach from this location, and we enjoyed several trips to the sites there, including the Art Gallery and Gastown. On a very sunny day, this hotel allowed easy access to the sea and sky highway to Squamish, where we enjoyed Shannon Falls and the Gondola lift.

Not much heat

Location! Space, 2 bathrooms, kitchen Quiet street

Room service- is there any? We stayed for 3 nights, no one has ever popped by to take away garbage. Wifi connection is not stable.

Perfect location! Kitchen is set up with with all equipment and stuff, feels almost like home. The suit is well taken care of, clean and tidy.

Sometimes had trouble getting in the front door with our key card.

This is property is in a good location, a very nice neighbourhood. Easy walk to Stanley Park, Denman Street and bus stops.

Parking in the area is challenging. We paid the extra fee to park at the Suites but that extra fee does add up.

We have stayed at the Rosellen Suites before and find the staff and location excellent. We bring our dog and love that Stanley Park is only 1/2 a block away and there is an off-leash area in the park that is not very far. We also really enjoy wandering along nearby Denman with all the different small shops and restaurants. Our one bedroom suite was very comfortable but with a bit of wear. Very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed although that wasn't much since there were so many good restaurants on Denman.

The carpet that covers the floors of both the room and the corroidos and stairs, very clean but now overcome as a coating and no longer recommended for general hygiene reasons.

Very comfortable location to go to the city center and just 200 meters from the Stanley Park entrance. Quiet place without traffic or particular noises. Well equipped room. Dear, welcoming and caring staff.

I had expected to be able to park our vehicle in the undercover area, but it had to be parked on the street.

The two bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, as was the living area. The kitchen was well stocked and had sufficient facilities for us to be able to prepare simple meals.

The shower heads need replacing, especially one off the primary bedroom that didn't hold position which made getting under it awkward, as it just droops.

Staff is very conscientious and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen has the basics for a short stay, so you don't have to always eat out, and requests were attended to promptly.

The property was dated. An upgrade isn’t necessary - if that would keep the prices reasonable - as long as everything is in working condition like the elevator call button on the 1st floor and the keycards that never seem to work. They provided us with a code to get through the lobby which worked every time. Might I suggest they upgrade to the same technology for room access. The rooms could use some deep cleaning as the carpets were very dirty and the couches dusty. I didn’t have to inhale deeply to notice that as I started sneezing the moment I sat on it.

It was in a very good location, close to restaurants, convenience stores, and Stanley Park. The area was also pretty quiet, almost suburb-like. The property was perfect for four adults and a child. Kudos to the manager, Tag, who has been very reaponsive. He took the initiative to contact us prior to our arrival to make sure we have access as we arrived in the middle of the night.

We stayed in Novemeber, and it was hard to warm up. Single pane windows made it pretty cold at night.

Great location for walking to downtown and over to Stanley Park. Large suite with lots of room for our group. Easy check in and out.

My sister is in a wheelchair and there wasn’t a ramp so she had to climb the stairs which was very difficult for her. Also, the rug were older and not flat, so they were potential trip hazards.

The staff was very helpful and the room was functional and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the room was very clean.

The location was excellent! Half a block from Stanley Park, quick, easy walk to the water! The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms. Kitchen was adequate for our needs.

Some of the furniture and lampshades needed updating. The lampshades were broken and cracked. The drapery was old and needed cleaning. There was a musty smell on arrival and black mold seen on window sills. One of our guests has asthma and needed to get allergy meds.

Great location and comfortable suite. The concierge was great and friendly

The keyless access code at the front door for late arrival did not work. A second code was requested by the intercom pad (resident number?) that was not comunicated by the staff.

Apartment was as described. Position close to Stanley park is excellent for families .
