The bathroom was dated and cramped. Some of the furnishings (chairs, carpet) were a bit worn.

I liked the express check-in, friendly staff. Also, the bed was *super* comfortable. I happened to stay at the Rum Runner as part of a "late escape" deal, so the cost was around $150 after tax - at that price, the cost certainly matched the amenities, location, service, etc.

We loved the veranda for viewing the harbour..convenience of a ground level room and proximity to restaurants and attractions! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the host was very friendly!

Parking is a challenge in Lunenburg, however the owner gave us some great tips and info. While I really liked the modern decor of the apartment the sling chairs were a bit difficult to get out off with ease. The front door could use some weather stripping or other adjustment around it as there was a small gap that let in light and noise from the other guests.

We were greeted by the owner. Everything was well organized very well thought out for the space. Having an outdoor deck was such a bonus!

Very quiet inn right in the main center of Lunenberg, near shops and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful veranda overlooking the harbor. Staff was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations for eating and sightseeing.

The parking was atrocious. It was street parking and it was very difficult to get a spot to unload your luggage never mind park. We were thrown off by the stairwell into the building as it was smelly but once in the room it was fine.

The room was great and the shower was amazing. The view from the window in our studio was very nice.

I did think that the quality of the room did not merit the $400/night price tag; the location, however, it may mean that that's the market rate.

Lunenburg is a popular tourist destination because of its exceptional beauty and so I did expect the high dollar rental cost; I appreciated the water view very much, especially as the fog rolled in that evening. I can't think we would have found a better view at many other places.

Our room #11, which was the first unit at the top of the stairs was a bit loud to the incoming guests and the room in general had no charm as shown in the photos.

Shower nozzle was mounted at the back of the shower, so that the spray went directly outside the shower stall. I mentioned it to the front desk and she agreed and said she would have an extra bar installed on the side of the shower stall. It would be nice to have some little tables or ledges at the bedside for book and glasses.
