The bathroom fan was quite loud (and was linked to the light so it had to be on). Room was dated/a bit rough around the c edges.

I didn't like being surprised when I checked out and the price I had to pay was different than the quote. The quote didn't include all the extra fees like GST, PST, ECO, and something called MRDT. For 4 days the extras came to $79.44 (17.89%). I was led to believe the Quote was the total price for my stay.

The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable, the room clean when I first entered and everything worked. The room wasn't made up each day . Apparently before 10 AM one has to put out on the door a sign to say to make up the room otherwise they do not make up the room and replace towels, soap etc. The sign is sitting on the desk beside the TV with other literature . There is another separate sign that asks not to be disturbed on the inside door of the room which is useless if you do not put up the "make up the room " sign , because without the "make up the room" sign hanging on the door, they don't attempt to come in anyways. Rather misleading. Others like me used the "DO NOT DISTURBE SIGN" (first day) But I didn't see any "Make up the room signs" on other doors.

The shower water drained terribly slow so one had water up to the ankles. Also, the tv remote can only be used with the up or down arrow keys to go from one channel to the next. One can not just enter the number of the channel wanted so it was slow and frustrating. Even to see the tv guide channel one had to find it only by using the up or down arrow keys. But these are minor and the room was very nice and clean!

The front desk staff were wonderful at check in, check out not so much. The bar one restaurant was completely empty, we weren’t sure anyone worked there. We should NOT have eaten there. Our rooms were near the back parking lot of the main building and we found that one of the exit doors was always propped open with a rock even at night. Not the safest. The front door was busted when we left. Overall kind of disappointed this time around.

The location is why we stay here. We stay here every year (except the Covid years)

Poor security. Access door to building had card lock disabled. Fire alarm 8n the middle of the night. Security told us to go back to our room. We went downstairs and out anyway. Fire dept was getting everyone out. When I went to check out and asked about a discount they said because I did book with rhs Sandman directly and used Bookimg.com that they could only give me 20 dollars in Dennys gift cards. Another thing hotel security disappeared when the Fire Deptshowed up.and nobody took a role call to make sure everyone was out.

The pool was shut down, which is the entire reason we booked at this hotel. The journey from the tower rooms to the lobby is very confusing and far. Problem with homeless people camped near our parked car.

The pool area is nice. Location is good for shopping.

The room was small. The tiled floor felt gross and was kind of sticky. AC wall unit was really noisy. The shower head was cracked and pouring water out of it. Overpriced.

The rooms and hallways had a motel feel. There was broken doors near by and poorly finished moldings and dated renos. Felt cheap for the price we paid.

The personnel was friendly and took notes of our suggestions regarding cleaning of the room, since there was a missing card that is required on the door so the staff knows you require the room being clean. It is important to notice that not all rooms have elevator access. We have to take a set of stairs to get to our room, which was Ok but could be a problem for someone with restricted mobility.

The room furniture was in good condition and the washroom was clean. It was nice having a pool and a hot tub inside the facility. The staff was very open to suggestions and very nice.
