Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We loved the Sandman Suites location in Davie Village - close to restaurants and within easy walking distance of the ferry to Granville Island. The view from the suite was spectacular. The suite was on the small side, but was very comfortable.

The wifi kept dropping, the reception and lifts need a bit of an update. The first receptionist was not at all friendly,
Excellent location, close to shops, bars and resturants. Most places are within walking distance. I would recommend it. The night scenery from the upper floors was spectacular

The air conditioner was very old, loud and clunky and didn't reach the bedroom. It was very stuffy as a result and difficult to get a good night's sleep

The couch was quite hard.
We were quite surprised after reading a few negative reviews about this property. We had one of the newly renovated rooms, and loved the size, comfort and amenities available. The lifts were relatively quick from reception and room level too! The bathroom was quite small, but to be expected for a city stay. Bed and pillows were comfortable, and having a kitchen allowed us to make breakfast each day and use the fridge etc. Location is great - we walked everywhere and got some bikes one day from English Bay Bike Rentals a few blocks away. Supermarket and cafes are all nearby and everything is so accessible from the hotel! Plenty of room for hanging clothes and opening out suitcases in the living area. Everything we needed for our stay!

Our booked apartment was disappointing but we were able to change this the next morning. We would have preferred some more cooking utensils in particular a baking tray or two. The area was in the heart of downtown Vancouver and as such was busy but the convenience of this outweighed any drawbacks.
Location was great, easy to get around without using public transport. The apartment contained most of what was needed to cater for ourselves, the washing machine was particularly helpful. Staff on reception quickly and efficiently sorted out an alternative to our first apartment which did not meet our expectations. The block was very easy to find we arrived in the dark and the large lit sign could be seen from quite some distance!

The lifts are very old and need updating and a good clean .. takes a while to catch one during peak times.
Well appointed, clean, modern and spacious apartment. Location is central to major attractions and popular areas around downtown Vancouver. Lots of cafes, eateries and restaurants all within walking distance.

We had trouble connecting 2 the wi fi in our room but a maintenance guy was helpful & allowed us connect to the staff wi fi.
The hotel is in a good location close to a beach, shops with good transport links. We enjoyed the on site pool. The main bed room was air conditioned with a comfy bed.....the living area could have done with air con also as was warm during our stay.
