The pool and shuttle were not working. The breakfast room was small and not a ton of variety.

The rooms were a good size and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were excellent.

Breakfast was not good. there is something about this Inn that is different than what it use to be. Not paying attention to detail. Little interaction with guests at breakfast like your on you own. That personal touch was no longer there .A change in owners or management possibly.

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful as I had to ask for their help with the TV and supplies that were not in the room.

We have stayed at Stone Gate a number of times because we love the pool. Our last 2 stays we have been told prior to arrival that the pool is open and we arrive to find it’s closed due to an issue. We had planned to make good use of the pool as it was cold and rainy and our kids love swimming and instead we had to find other things to do.

The rooms were comfortable and the staff was nice. The kids really liked the breakfast options!

We booked a suite room as my husband gets up earlier then I do, unfortunately the TV did not work and they could not change rooms as the hotel was full. (yes, we did try swapping the working tv in the bedroom but issue was with the cable from the wall not the actual TV) - Reported the issue to the staff and they came to the room to check but basically said there was nothing they could do to fix it and advised we should speak to the manager at check out. Room was advertised to have a microwave but ours did not and we had to go to the front desk to request toilet paper as there were no rolls in the room and only a little left on the spindle. We didn't need the microwave so not a big deal for us and they brought us up the TP when requested Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the Managers response as she basically said that since the other TV (in the bedroom) worked I shouldn't be disappointed or expect any discount for the inconvenience (completing missing the point of why we booked the suite in the first place). After some discussion she reluctantly provided me a discount on my "next stay" but the way she handled the situation left me really not wanting to go back.

Hotel was nice, a bit dated but clean, next to the foodland and had a kitchenette with full size fridge (in the room we stayed in) which was nice for beverages and snacks. Hotel is a good location if you'd like to walk the trail down to the water (although there is a fairly steep hill to get to the path and about a 5km wide flat trail to do so)

We are good breakfast eaters, we really enjoy this first meal of the day. We couldn't find lots of options. It could be nice to have some other options like: scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, and croissants. But that's only because we like a good complete breakfast every morning.

We loved our luxury room. It had everything we needed for our small family of 2 adults and a baby toddler. The room was big and comfortable. It had anything you could need on your stay: extra big and comfortable bed, kitchen with all the tools needed, sofabed in the living room, TV, air conditioning, washroom with jacuzzi. We loved it and used all.

The pillows were lumpy and small like cushions . Time to invest in new ones! The kitchenette was not well appointed , but the staff were wonderful and we were able to get what we needed.

We like the fact that it is a suites hotel . This is our third time at the property. The bed was comfortable . This is the first time we used the pool. We enjoyed it as it was very warm and clean .

My room door and balcony door were open when I reached my room. While a nice touch..it was a bit unnerving for a solo traveller. The breakfast was in two spots. Better in one location.

The quality of the paper products was very poor (kleenex & toilet paper). It was like using newspaper to blow your nose. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was not operational. We would have liked a soak after our long drive.

The breakfast was lovely. I enjoyed the hotel.
