Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely, friendly staff, always smiling and super helpful. Comfy room with a nice lounge space. The “fire” in the room is really nice and cosy. Housekeeping cleans the room every day which is great when skiing.

Storage in the hotel room is limited. For three of us in a room, would have been nice to have some drawers. The room next to us had a chest of drawers but for some reason, ours didn't. Also, a drying room would be helpful. We got caught in a day of rain and nowhere for us to dry three sets of wet ski gear so they were dry for the next day. But these are just observations rather than criticisms - the hotel is great.
Second visit to the hotel. The rooms are a good size for what you pay for and clean. Small, functional kitchenettes allowing the option to have meals in, rather than having to go out every night. Supermarket about a 3 minutes walk away. No having to request your room being cleaned (which seems to be the current trend with US hotels) - they are cleaned every day. Staff are all really friendly. Shuttle to the slopes was really helpful and the shuttle drivers really nice.

It seems odd that the property allows ski boots to be worn in the Hotel, this caused a lot of noise and is very unpleasant when the rooms above start tromping around in their ski boots at 7am

Hot tub is a bit small.
Boutique size was great, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Nice vibe! Awesome shuttle service and ski storage service too!

Room (and hotel in general) was too warm. When put the aircon on it was so loud we turned it back off.
A nice, cozy hotel in a great location if you want the village.

The breakfast to go, which you can order, was not our style. But there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the hotel. The sauna heats up to a maximum of just 85 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit). For me, that's too low.
It's a very nice and modern hotel in the center of Whistler. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are cosy and very well cleaned up. It's was great to relax in the heated pool and the hot tub after a day in the mountains.

Really well equipped kitchenette and they really put in a lot of effort to make sure your puppy is welcome. Really well played out room with lots of amenities. The Malkin and Goetz products are so nice.

lodge is a good walk to ski lifts, however, free hotel shuttle was on hand to take you to foot of ski lift, which was great!!
The lodge was extremely well maintained, staff were very helpful, and the room was extremely clean, comfortable and practical for eating in our if wanting to simply relax and dine out. Fire place was cozy, seprate bedroom from living room/kitchen, etc.

Loved the village . A beautiful feel and really loved the Summit Lodge shuttle which made it very easy to get to the gondolas and take you home. Will definitely return to Summit Lodge
