Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaNothing major, some nice to haves below - Would have been lovely to know at check in about the communal firepit and how to use it (or that we could) - I felt a bit uneasy to know what the room had and looked before we got there as the facilities (ie firepit in room) were not super clear ahead of time
Wonderful little Cabin, went with our pet and for a low extra fee which is charged at check in (you do need to advise them earlier) my dog had a bed, a treat and her plate for water/food. We cooked and chilled, and the space was wonderful for that The toiletries smelled delicious The water was hot and lovely for a shower Room got up to a great temp with the firepit in the room River sounds, relaxing

CanadaOur weekend stay at this boutique accommodation in Canada was a delightful escape from the ordinary. Impeccably clean and organized, the cottage boasted tasteful decor and thoughtful amenities that exceeded our expectations. The absence of a television encouraged genuine connection and relaxation, while the limited internet coverage allowed us to fully embrace the tranquility of our surroundings. It was evident that every detail had been carefully considered, creating a restorative retreat that far surpassed the offerings of larger chain hotels. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway in Canada, this charming hideaway is the perfect choice.

United States of AmericaThe driveway coming on to the property has deep pot holes. Very uncomfortable even for a truck.

United KingdomThe accommodation does not have WIFI. As an international tourist this made making dinner, travel and activity planning extremely difficult. Other accommodation in the area does have WiFi which I believe sun wolf should look at investing in as it made our time there more difficult.
The cabins were newly refurbished, spacious and clean. The cabins are reasonably close together however you are still able to have your own space and privacy. A great short walk down to the rivers edge and a lovely cafe on site. There is a many number of adventure activities that can be done in Squamish.

United States of AmericaIt was tricky to navigate Hwy 99 in a storm, but we arrived.
Greeted by the warmth of the propane fire when we opened the cabin door after a snowy drive down the highway from Whistler. Slept with the window cracked open to hear sounds of the rushing river. Fergies restaurant breakfast presentation was gorgeous and delicious.

CanadaOh my gosh this is the perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful getaway! The cabins are absolutely adorable!! So cozy with the fireplace!! Very clean! Beds were comfy! My friend and I wished we could’ve stayed longer! Excited to take a trip again but with my boyfriend as it does have romance vibes! Also interested in the bigger cabin as I think it would be so cute for a girl group getaway!

CanadaThe cabins are a little close together but i appreciate they need to make economic use of space
I appreciate the rustic feeling with the comfort. I'm glad there is no wifi as of course it encourages better connection in the family and an opportunity to just play games. The staff person was very sweet and helpful. I like the outside games available. Very dog friendly.

SwitzerlandIt gets very busy with the on-site restaurant, it’s seems to be very popular with tourist parties.

Such a lovely place! I wish we could have stayed longer! Booked as a stop off on a road trip and wish we’d given ourselves an extra day. The cabins are so lovely and cosy, and the bed is super comfortable. There’s plenty to do in Squamish and around the area too - if you like the outdoors, it’s perfection!

Hong KongWe loved everything.
This place is an absolute gem. We only booked for a night and wished we could stay longer. It is a peaceful haven. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and smiling. The cabins are really cute and cosy. We sat at the pic nic table for drinks and food and really enjoyed how quiet the surroundings were. The river is literally in front of the cabins so the sound of the river is very relaxing. The food at the cafe (we had breakgfast) is the best I had had in weeks. Absolutely amazing and the staff once again was wonderful. I wish to come back!
