One of the beds in the room was very uncomfortable. The other one was fine. The chimney seems to need cleaning perhaps since we had to leave the door of the fire slightly ajar in order to keep the fire burning.

We stayed in one of the Mapleview rooms and were very happy with our stay. The price was amazing and I enjoyed the jet tub after a day hiking at the nearby Limberlost Reserve. We also enjoyed the fireplace. We would definitely consider coming back during the spring/summer/fall to get out on the lake. I would like to stay in one of the stand-alone cottages. Location is good for exploring the area and close enough to Hunstville for amenities.

When we first got to the place, they hadn't cleared out the snow. We called just before we booked and again the day of the booking to inform them that my mother would be arriving and that the place needed to be shovelled and any ramps to get into the place be put up. That wasn't done. It was very stressful on our first night getting in because the place wasn't ready to receive my mom. We had to lift her up and carry her into the cottage and also lift her chair up manually. The reason I am giving Tally Ho a good rating is with how Pascal was able to resolve the issue for us and understood the severity of the situation. The internet was also really bad.

Great location, nice cottage and nice team. I could imagine how nice this place is in the summer or fall. Extremely relaxing and great communication with the team. Check in was easy, finding our cabin was also easy.

The interior was great the exterior needed a bit more love. However as you spend your time either inside or outside looking at the landscape it was no big deal.

We have felt very comfortable here. Everything was as in the pictures and in the description. The house was clean and big enough for our family of four. The view of the lake was beautiful and our children had plenty of space to play outside. It was a very good base for visiting Algonquin Provincial Park. We can recommend the accommodation without reservation.

The lack of signs/explanation... It was not really clear what we had to do with the garbage, or where we could park the car at first.

The view of the lake from outside the room is wonderful! We had plenty of room for the two of us. And the included micro-wave, water warming, extra blankets were a nice touch as well. Being relatively close to the national park was great to enjoy as much as possible.

One of the beds had an older mattress and we kept rolling one on top of the other. It did not make for a restful sleep.

The location is excellent, and the fact that one can see the lake from any cottage, really. The space in the middle is great for kids to get together and play games. The location, facilities, and views are really wonderful!

When we pulled into the parking lot it seriously looked like a dump. I said to my friend there was no way I was going to stay there. When I opened the door to our room the room was very nice. I was able to stay there. I would highly recommend that you spend the money to fix up the outside of your property

The mattress was super soft, got back ache in the morning, we wish it was little firmer. The barbeque for our book which we booked in advance was not working properly, the flame was so feeble and it was low on propane, we had to use the one from the next room.

The location was amazing in front of the lake, the room was super clean with white sheets. All the amenities were available as promised. The washroom was nice too. Queries were addressed promptly through their contact number. Parking facility was available just adjacent to the room. All in all it was a great stay.

Everything was good except that we had to ask for a toaster. Even no kitchen cottages should be provided with a toaster as there is no complementary breakfast option or any option to purchase breakfast.

Parking was limited near the cabin/room, even at designated areas that were closed. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner (very dusty areas and windows, minor mouldy spots);

Location at lake side is stunning, and outdoor facilities offered are incredible. Close to Huntsville, for any urgent needs, restaurants or services. 30 min away from Algonquin Park. Ok for money value.

The check-in time (4pm) seems too late, considering they want you out by 10am. This was our second stay in the place and both times we have felt that the staff in the lobby are not customer oriented, we went to rent the grill and the lady’s expression was like “what the hell do you want”, we asked a question about the cabins location and the answer was “check the email”. The responses were not strictly rude, but definitively weren’t friendly or something expected from a host. It’s unfortunate, because this has been the only drawback we have identified twice by different people on the lobby.

The cabins are cozy, the outside space and surroundings are beautiful. It’s worth just to sit close by the lake. Having access to complimentary kayaks is great as well.

The bathroom didn't have enough counter space. The walls are thin, a snoring man in the next room kept me awake at night. No fault of the inn, but the first night a party of guests came back at 2 am and they were very noisy until 4 am

The cottages look a bit shabby on the outside but our room was renovated, with nice laminate flooring. The room was reasonable size, beds were comfortable and it was clean. There was a fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle. I liked that there was a shower stall rather than a tub.

The taps in the bathroom leaked unless you close them really, really tight. I have arthritis in my hands, so it was very difficult to turn on or shut off the water. I had to ask my husband for help several times.

The beds were comfortable. The view was nice, and the resort was quiet. The temperature was always nice and consistent. Flooring was east to keep clean.
