Everything was excellent, can't find any faults.

We had a room overlooking the ocean on the first floor. It had a wrap around balcony offering fabulous views, especially of the sunset. Amazing.

Poor cleaning on last day, Staff did not replenish water and tea. Staff did not empty rubbish. Bottled water is needed because tap water is undrinkable. Breakfast selections and service was poor.

Great view from private balcony. Superior room, comfortable king size bed, clean, lots of space. Big bathroom. This hotel with new ownership is much improved from a few years ago.

The king rooms are advertised as "with balconies", however they are not really balconies, it's an exterior walkway that people can walk along - and people do, so there is little privacy at the front of the building (with "harbour views" being views onto the parking lot). The television didn't work.

The rooms are comfortable but old, and if you don't pay for the expensive front rooms over looking the ocean then you're going to be looking at a parking lot... However, it's the only deal in town if you're going to take a water taxi to Savary Island - everything else is a drive away. The bed was comfortable, the staff went out of their way to help us.

Such a beautiful location right on the waters edge. Our room was superb, lovely big bed, nice bathroom and fabulous sitting area and balcony overlooking the water. The staff were very good, the food was typically good pub food. It's was expensive but worth it for the great location. We went on a taxi boat to Savary Island, a very peaceful place.

We stayed in 206 which is a king room with balcony. Having access to the balcony made all the difference in this room as it was quite small and the weather cooperated so that we made good use of the chairs and tables. The hotel overlooks the small but very busy habour and Marina. The staff were great in both the hotel and the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. You receive a $10 voucher and pay any extras.

The wifi was challenging and kept disconnecting. We could occasionally hear patrons in the restaurant/bar on the floor below but this didn't detract from our experience. During off-season the hotel restaurant is not open for breakfast,

Breakfast choice was fairly limited and voucher system a bit complicated! We thought we had paid for breakfast in the meal rate to find that we had a 10 dollar voucher per person instead. However, we're sure there must have been a good reason for this! Internet was patchy but understandable given the location, and I believe steps to improve are in place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought the rooms were well appointed, with some nice little touches. The bed was super comfy! Any criticisms are picky to be honest, and only there to help improve what is already an excellent experience.

The nicely appointed Superior room ( well worth the extra even just for the view ) with the balcony looking over the busy harbour and marina where there is all sorts of activity all day long. The peace and tranquility at night. Especially if you remember to bring a mosquito coil. :) The restaurant is a huge improvement over last year, even if it did keep us out of Nancy's Bakery once or twice. We arrived at 6 PM and there was no one at the front desk, everything was locked up.We found our key in the bar. We probably would've upgraded to a better room once we saw the set up but it wasn't an option because there was no one around. We found dirty socks under the bed, there was a dead bug in the tub, the screen fell out of the window, there was no Kleenex in the room, could've used a couple of extra towels and no one to call if we needed something. We paid tfor a room with a view but we were looking over the parking lot. Would never pay the extra $10 as the view was just as good from the other side of the building.

There are no downsides to The Lund.

The peaceful beauty of the setting is complimented by this historic hotel with its quality, contemporary rooms and the bend-over-backwards service from the management and staff. The small upgrade to a Superior room is well worth the price as, from your pillow, you can watch the sunset, the comings and goings of boats of every type or sit on your balcony and watch the sea.
