The pool and changing room would need some maintenance and renovations.

Location and access to town. Our cabin was perfectly located, quiet and with a beautiful view.

The pool wasn’t warm and smaller than expected. We had issues with access cards and knob to coil fridge was broken.

We liked that there was a balcony which faced the mountains and road. In the early morning, we saw a family of deer walking by.

Parking was little tight...no reserved parking so sometimes we were forced to park further away from our chalet which normally would be ok but not great when snowing. Also the property is missing a coffee bar or cafe. We had to go across to Prow for food.

The kitchen was a bonus, the fireplace was a nice touch. What really impressed me was the free bus pass that was given to us for the three days we were there. The bus stops right beside the property, saves finding/paying for parking in town.

Room was hot and stuffy and the thermostat didn't seem to do much. Place feels a bit run down/beaten up, but very serviceable and pretty comfy.

Having a suite was nice. Parking area was convenient to the rooms. Free bus shuttle pass into town was a nice touch. Bed and bedding were comfortable (hurray for extra pillows!). Shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion were fantastic! Private balcony was nice.

More counter space in kitchen. Counter space small and we could barely fit the toaster, kettle and coffee maker in the space at one time. More plug-ins would also be helpful.

Leaving!

From the friendly welcome at midnight to the continued excellence of service from all the team, my son and I had a wonderful time staying at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Sleeping Buffalo. The service from Brogan especially, with her insights, ideas, and research into helping us get the best out of our trip, and the thoughtful birthday gesture for my son showed her to be in a class of her own when it comes to service. She is an asset to the resort! The sauna was a daily retreat for me, and the gym, though small, provided my son and I with all the equipment needed for our daily workouts. Included in the price is the bus tickets down into Banff, as well as discount vouchers for rentals and excursions. With wonderful vistas and walks nearby and the quiet location away from the main town, this is an ideal spot for your getaway. The kitchen in our room also provided us with everything we needed in terms of pots and pans, utensils, fridge space, crockery etc - and we even had a composting bin! Fabulous! The provision of a local companies organic hair and body products enhanced the start and end of our days when showering. And for the evenings, there is a great selection of board games to enjoy! Highly recommend this resort to everyone!

Good location, close to Banff and free bus passes provided to get to into the township. Warm in winter with good heating. Clean. Cosy.

Only negative, we stayed in the studio apartment and the bedroom is located at the front which is in the parking lot area. This can make it noisy throughout the night.

Property is well maintained and clean. Overall great value.
