Noise. Floor was squeaky and I could hear noises from all over - outside the building, upstairs, next door, ... I could even hear someone snoring during the night. If you are sensitive to noises, probably consider somewhere quieter.

We made a booking for 5 on Booking.com but when we checked in the room only had two doubles. The hotel had no cots or extra rollaway beds available so my daughter had to sleep on pillows/extra sheets and blankets on the floor for two nights.

The property and decor was nice and being close to the Skytrain was one reason we booked here.

First night I was in a noisy room with poor internet connection, that cause me lots of trouble, since I had zoom meetings and online work which I could not perform.

The voice insulation needs to be better.

It's cheap and good value. You need to take care that the voice insulation is bad so that you may need some luck for a good sleep. One guy next to my room kept talking on his phone till 2 a.m. The rest of them are all good! Enjoy your trip!

The shower surface was lethal. Extremely slippery, we needed to place a towel down for our safety. 1 cm crack on 2 sides of the room door shining bright light from the hall into the room. Minimal sound proofing between rooms and hall.

Lovely staff, good location to walk to BC Place, very comfortable beds, Nespresso machine and water boiler in room with coffee cream supplied in room fridge.

I could hear water? running through the wall during the night and a couple above me having sex, I did have headphones to try and reduce the issue but the water is decently loud.

I liked how easy and quick it was to get checked in and then into my room, plus the wifi was great also.

My only struggle with the rooms was the noise. I could hear the other clients walking in the corridors. I know that it's one of the downsides of having a beautiful victorian building, but I don't sleep well enough for that level of noise.

The hotel was really well located, the staff was nice and the rooms were beautiful. The washrooms were really clean, too.

This place is immaculately clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The only thing to consider is that the washrooms are shared. To be honest, I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it wasn't as there were enough washrooms per floor for all the residents. The location was great.

The steps up to the main lobby were a challenge with luggage and parking situation was not convenient especially since I arrived late on a rainy night.

I booked a room with no en-suite this time. The common bathrooms on the floor are perfectly fine (large and clean). However the decor, size, standard, and comfort of the non-ensuite rooms are of far far lower quality than the other rooms. Broken items, wall mirror leaning sideways, heating not working, the plug in heater that was delivered did not work, etc. A little disappointed and I will not book the rooms without ensuite anymore. Very very different standard altogether, like being in a different hotel. The other complaint I have is that now twice I have arrived at this hotel at 10pm and have had a very competent staff carry out the check in. On each occasion, I left at 6am for the airport and the night staff have been horrendous, deliberately rude, unhelpful ('no, I cannot give you a receipt, etc.), and intentionally off-putting. It is the second time this happens and I think this hotel really has an issue with night staff....

I have stayed at the Victorian before. It is a hotel with character. I like the location and the style.
