Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaHAD TO GO TO OFFICE TO OBTAIN CLEAN TOWELS (STAYED 3 NIGHTS). ENTRANCE REQUIRED CLEANING, LIKE HOSING OFF THE TILES. PATIO REQUIRED A GOOD CLEANING AS THERE WAS PLENTY OF DIRT AND DUST UNDER THE TABLES AND IN THE CORNERS. A FEW PLANTERS ON PATIO WOULD OF MADE PLACE MORE APPEALING. PLACE IS LOOKING A BIT RUN-DOWN.
Location. Patio when available.

CanadaRooms are very small, and smoke alarm kept going off from the steam from our shower in the morning. My partner had to open our room door and stand on the bed to keep pressing the button wrapped only in a towel because it kept going off. Honestly, kind of a funny situation, but definitely could use a stronger bathroom fan? In our room that we stayed in.
Location was lovely, the staff was very friendly and accommodating for parking (assigned) for our larger pickup truck. Check in was easy and they were informative for facilities etc. There is a pool shared among the 3 motels, but, we didn't use it.

Polandfirst thing we booked it because it says they have a steam room and a hot tub. BOTH CLOSED!!!! :( :( but on booking it says it’s open! if I know I would book another hotel. we had the worst room possible, it was clean and inside all was ok, but the window was situated on the side of loud construction located maybe 10 meters from the hotel. so it was noisy and from 7 am we had construction workers just in front our window.
it’s really waterfront you can see the lake form your room if you are lucky to get a nice room

CanadaThe kitchen was only minimally stocked but it was functional. There were 2 coffee makers but no blender. The stove was clean but one of the burners didn't work.
The location is excellent with a nice view of the park and Skaha Lake. Very convenient to the beach. The air conditioner kept us cool and comfortable on the hottest heat wave ever recorded in Canada. The room layout was spacious and roomy for two. The fridge and stove were functional.

CanadaThe motels on the block (The Beachside, Sunny Beach and Waterfront Inn) have been bought up by a developer and are now operated as one unit...with the office in the Beachside...so all contacts staff require walking over there. Accommodations were very bare bones...small room (the size varies by unit), only 2 pillows, no box of tissue, older towels...
Staff was very accommodating. We were here for the Okanagan Trestle Ride. The parking spot assigned to our unit would not accommodate our car with the bike rack. They allowed us to park two motel units up. They also stored our bikes on Sunday night to protect us from theft. The room had a heat pump and the best fridge we have encountered in a motel. The heat pump is quiet and the fridge had a freezer section. Actual glassware and mugs.

CanadaCost for what was offered. The rooms are outdated, sheets were obviously not clean, and when asked to get clean bedding, the 'housekeeper' came in stinking of pot, which is fine on your own time, but I had kids with me. The clean sheets were also not actually clean, and there were dead bugs on the bedspread.
