Didnt like the room in the basement as only super small window, limited natural light, and low ceilings. The bed way too soft for me. Strange to have a washing machine and dryer outside my door, but not available for guest use. Was quite noisy when on also.

Really nice to have cooked eggs to order for breakfast.

More variety in breakfasts would be good, as would a towel rack near the wash basin.

Windsor house is very quiet and in a great location. We walked to Granville Island, Queen Elizabeth Park, a variety of restaurants, and other places.

I actually stayed 2 nights and the first night I froze but the staff fixed it for the next night. I struggled with no-one there on arrival getting my bag to 2nd floor. I also paid extra to booking.com for a private bathroom, which booking.com offered, but the place was unable to offer.

only downside was the pipes were really loud above us (to be expected in a heritage home, of course) and that the breakfast was also very audible and a strong smell

Everything was amazing, location and decorations were lovely. Honestly, it was wonderful for the price, and I'd go again.

As an older person I struggled a little with my luggage and the stairs. I arrived about 4.30pm and with no-one around, as expected by the correspondence, it was quite challenging for me. I didn't think on that score! Also on arrival my room was freezing. It didn't really warm up til next morning. 2nd night it was beautifully heated. That's all.

Staff on site were fantastic. Jose and Carole so responsive and helpful. They seemed to really care and go out of their way to solve any issue I had. Thoroughly enjoyed the omelette brekkie Carole made. Very close to where I needed to be. Such a beautiful old home.

There was no jug supplied in my room, just a coffee maker and coffee pods. I do not drink coffee. I feel only providing this does not cater to all guests. I arrived after 9pm at night and just wanted to boil a jug. I checked breakfast room and lounge area but could not find one. No one was on hand - self checkin. A fellow guest had one and offered to loan it to me. The next day I asked my breakfast host if I could have one for me room. This was supplied immediately but unfortunately did not work later that night when I tried to use it. I gave up after that.

Very nice room, size perfectly adequate for one person. Shared bathroom with just one other room was clean and well serviced. Breakfast room was pleasant and good choices for the included breakfast. Distance to train station was very good and the neighbourhood was very pleasant with nearby shops. I would definitely stay again if in Vancouver.

Nice place to stay, good size rooms kept at a decent temperature and the property was well located to get to from local stations with places to eat nearby - situated in a lovely street. They have a good set-up going with the key collection, although it took 5-10 minutes for our Ring call to be answered. Because we had an earlier flight we missed out on the breakfast which was a shame.

Communication was good and the code to access the property was sent on the morning of arrival. On entering we found an envelope with our room details waiting. We had the 2 bedroom suite which was more than adequate for our needs and it was comfortable and quiet. We took the skytrain from the airport and it was only about a 10 minute walk (uphill) to Windsor Guest House. There are many bars/cafes and coffee shops within easy walking distance. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed and breakfast was good.

I would have preferred to NOT be in the basement. My preference for quiet didn't go so far as to want to be in the basement! My reservation was quite far in advance so I don't know why I was given the basement room.

The property itself was nice. Just can’t believe the prices in Vancouver. It’s so expensive- but at least this place included a good breakfast.

A pretty guest house with multiple rooms and nice common area for breakfast. Lovely quiet, tree lined street. Friendly staff. Nice and clean. Nice vegetarian breakfast.
