Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaSome construction going on, but that really isn't in their control. I took it as its improvements. So nothing bad really.
We requested a room with a bathroom. The room was large, as was the washroom. We only stayed one night but it was nice and clean and we were very satisfied! We don't get out much as we have 3 kids and this was our first night away from the kids in a really long time. No complaints here! :)

CanadaNoise level. In the room, continuous bathroom fan which I understand but loud so closed bathroom door. There are 2 more vents in the room for heat/ air circulation. I turned the heat right down but loud air sound always.. I am a little noise sensitive but hard to block out . Secondly, there was a teen group staying on my floor and was woken up at midnight...Called the front desk to deal with it and when woken up again at 12.45am ,I dealt with it myself and that was the end of it . Not hotels fault but annoying none the less.. Second night was super quiet, can only presume they checked out or were spoken with .
I have stayed at this location before and it is very convenient and safe for the concert I was attending and perfect for where the bus from the ferry (257 express) dropped me off. The ladies at reception are super friendly and knowledgeable and I was able to check in early. The room (7th floor) was clean and roomy with 2 queen beds and view of BC Place. Met all my needs, desk, mini fridge , private bathroom and room for storage of suitcase etc...No coffee station in room but free coffee machine in lobby with expresso etc.. and use of kitchen facilities on most floors ..Housekeeping was excellent and friendly whenever passing in the hall.

Saudi ArabiaThe washroom is shared by the persons living to the next door which is very weird and inconvenince.
Perfect location, walking distance to the downtown area, Science World and Rogers Arena, metro stations are also nearby. The receptionist offered me an early check-in around 10am in the morning.

CanadaThe room was a bit cramped with the two beds in it. It was mostly the desk area and shelf unit behind the door where there was an issue. We found the shelf unit near the door a bit awkward and space for only one carry-one suitcase laid on its back to access its contents with no light above that area to see well. It was dark and my husband was annoyied that he could not see well in this area. The bathroom has no shelf or anywhere to put personal items except on the very small counter. My husband has a shaving kit and I have a small cosmetic bag but even though we each had minimal toiletries it felt very cramped (I dislike clutter on counter tops). I was also looking for a place to put my small carry-on suitcase since there is only room on the shelf unit by the door for one suitcase. I dislike putting my suitcase on the floor and was looking for a suitcase rack to rest it on and then be able to access its contents at a more comfortable height. The desk chair did not work for that and my husband worked from the room each day and needed to sit in the chair so - my suitcase ends up on the floor --- grrr. I realize that the rooms are small and only so much can go into it but a narrow little wooden bench under the mirror would be great. So my suggestions are: add a shelf in the bathroom, add a suitcase bench under the mirror, add a light source over the shelf unit behind the door. We enjoyed our stay!
The location is great - close to Skytrain and walking distance to Yaletown etc. We attended a hockey game as well since it coincided with our stay and it was nice to be within walking distance to Rogers Arena. The Nespresso coffee machine in the lobby every morning was also really nice (and the lemon water - thank you!). The beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet despite being on Beatty side of the building. It was nice to have the minifridge in the room also for keeping some snacks and beverages.

CanadaParking tends to fill quickly, so don't be surprised if there are no lots open close by, especially when events are taking place. I had to park at the library, which was about a 5 minute walk, and cost about 30 bucks for the day. Housekeeping's walkie talkies were so loud, very early in the morning. If I had a pen and paper, I could make a list of all the rooms that were supposed to be checking out - you could hear entire conversations.
Great location. Short walk to BC place and Rogers Arena.

Location was very good, less than 10 minutes walk to gas town, and just few minutes to the Robson street shopping and dining. The surrounding area feels safe also. The community kitchen was very convenient.

CanadaThere was no on site dining but not really an issue as there were endless dining options within the area.
If you’re attending an event at the stadium/arena, this is the perfect location as it is right next door to both. Close to all other downtown amenities (ample dining, shopping and entertainment in the area). Although it wasn’t inexpensive, it was far less than other hotels in the area and a portion of the proceeds go towards the YWCA, benefitting women and family programs. The room was spotless and the beds were SUPER comfortable! Delicious Nespresso coffee was served all morning. I felt safe and secure in the area.

United States of AmericaI didn’t see a coffee maker or kettle in my room, but there was free coffee in the lobby each morning until 11:30 AM.
Absolutely fabulous location across the street from the arena, walking distance to many restaurants, Chinatown, Dr. Sun Yat Sen gardens and transportation. About .6 miles or so from the Via/Amtrak train station, and just a couple of minutes from bus and Sky Train stops. I had a GORGEOUS view at night from my 11th floor room. The staff, from front desk personnel to the cleaning and maintenance staff I met in the hall, were friendly and courteous. I arrived at the hotel a little after 10 AM and was able to check directly into my room. Had it not been available, the hotel has a room to store luggage for folks who arrive earlier than normal check-in time. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room, which is very convenient. Located on the same block as the Hampton Inn and around the corner from Blu, the YWCA Hotel Vancouver was a much more wallet-friendly alternative and just as convenient. It also felt good to know my lodging dollars were going to support a non-profit which does such good work for the community.

CanadaOn the second day, I couldn’t access my room, and there was no microwave or boiler. I realized there was a kitchen area, but both of my key cards never worked. On the last day, the third day, I couldn’t access the parking area through the elevator. The staff were amazing, though. I loved the free coffee, although I only discovered it on the last day. I went out to buy coffee daily, even when it was raining.
