The only comment: I would like there to be slippers in the room. Since the room was not warm enough for the January weather and the floor was very cold.

The hotel is in a great location and with wonderful views of the mountains. We really liked the atmosphere in the room and in the hotel. Good service and delicious breakfast.

A few minus: no elevator to our room on the 3rd floor & slanted ceilings were we bumped our heads a few times.

The feel of the hotel, very nice & very looked after and clean. On both days the staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with loads of different breads, brioche, tarts, eggs, cereals, meat, cheese etc. Coffee was delicious too.

Our room ist at the side of backyard, but i dont know on the front side of the street, if its loud or noisy?. But the facilities is good nothing to change, is good convenience and is good infrastructure thats nice👍

Cant sleep because of the baby,s cry, but it is normal is not failure...that's life. Weve been also was baby...

We stayed in one of the rooms in the top floor where you had to share a bathroom and shower, which wasn’t ideal for us is two women travelling alone.

The breakfast was delicious but it could be richer and filled more often.

I liked the staff, they were very sympathetic and wanted to help you. The rooms and everything in them was great, beds were comfy and we had enough place for our luggage.

The room had sloping beams which limit the head space in the room. Window was small.

The room had a fantastic view although the window was small and high up . The area was quiet and close to the lovely port area, shops and eating places . It was a ten minute walk to the bus/train station. The staff were attentive and helpful and breakfast was nice.

We arrived in the rain and were greeted by a lovely man who told us about Locarno - where to eat and what to do. Parking very convenient as there wasn't much else around the hotel. Clean and comfortable room.

The unpleasant smell of old houses and the there is no electric kettle and Paper towels for in the room.

Very nice looking renovated hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Every time we had a wish or a question, they helped us immediately. The pictures in the hall show the past of the building, which was quite a ruin before the renovation. Now it looks amazing. It breaths the spirit from the old times and yet offers modern and comfy rooms. Breakfast was great with served coffee or hot tea and a good choice of food. We loved the vintage balcony!

I have been coming back to this hotel regularly over many years so they must be doing something right! It's been fascinating to see how the place has evolved over time and the renovations since my last (pre-Covid) visit are welcome. The addition of an EV charger is a definite plus. The hotel overall is characterful, friendly and well situated. There may be more luxurious places to stay in Locarno but none with as much quirky charm.

The breakfast was not brilliant, but good enough.

The location was absolutely lovely. You can see the lake from the window, and it feels very Romantic. The breakfast was good enough, and the staff were extremely friendly.

Very good breakfast, selection: cereal, toast, fruit, eggs, cheese, ham. Waiter took individual coffee orders.
