Super friendly staff and very good quality breakfast. The view at the restaurant is beyond my expectation. It's so beautiful. I will recommend to everyone I know.

The check-in hour was only til 8pm, but in booking it was marked as 12am, which caused some confusion. Make sure to check with the staff before arriving. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!

The bed probably needs an upgrade, as it sunk a little. They should let you know in advance that you have to pay for the hotel parking.

Lovely little hotel in Spiez with an amazing terrace view of the lake and the castle. Very well organised and run, nicely decorated with an honesty bar and a tasty breakfast. Very good value for money.

My go to stay at Spiez. Very comfortable rooms, super clean room, comfy and soft bed, super soft and clean bath towels. Even though the property is a bit old - the rooms are squeaky clean and the staff was wonderful.

Every single thing! Very welcoming staff. Super helpful I have no words but gratitude! We had originally booked another place in Spiez but due to an unfortunate event the host cancelled our booking and we had no where to stay. We booked and checked in during late hours of a freezing cold winter night and my goodness! John came and personally recieved us and welcomed us. He helped us with our luggage and showed us around the apartment. We were mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. He welcomed us and made us feel at home. Next morning we had breakfast and the cafe is not to be missed. We finally enjoyed an aussie style coffee in Switzerland. The staff was amazing! There was a kids play area and lovely food with breath taking views. I've never felt more at home before! The staff looked out for us and constantly checked to make sure we didn't want anything. We felt loved and wanted ❤️. John & his team are a hidden gem 💎 and we would be sending our friends here and coming back again.

Too limited idea, we were tired, slept and left the next morning early. The street where the hotel is located is not very attractive, but as said above, the view (behind) is wonderful.

We came late by train and checkin was with a door code. This went smooth. There is an elevator (a bit small, but OK). Very nice room on 3rd floor, and the view from the balcony was beautiful (Lake Thun). Excellent beds. We needed to take an early train so couldn't stay for breakfast and have also otherwise a very limited idea about what the hotel offers..

The view was amazing. Staff was friendly right from the start, check in drinks, tour of the hotel, and we were walked to your room. Staff gave great recommendations for lunch, dinner and activities. We did not pay for breakfast ahead of time, but did eat breakfast there both mornings. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Rooms were great and the staff lent us a fan as it was hot during the day. It cooled off nicely at night to have the windows open. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
