Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandBreakfast could be a bit earlier for the skiers. Also beware that the apres-ski bars are really close and can be loud. Comes with the territory and honestly doesn't really bother us as the music doesn't go on all night. Just a hint to people who truly despise that kind of noise.
We come to Saas-Free quite frequently to ski and this is in our humble opinion the best value in town. Location is great and close to the lifts, rooms have all you need for a weekend and the balconies with views towards the ski area ensure there's no dull moment. Are there better places in Saas-Fee? Sure - but value for price at Bristol is very hard to beat.

United StatesBeyond the control of hotel owners, a loud group of around 10 children (2 sets of parents) populated the hotel for most of my stay and they were LOUD.
Hotel was at far end of town, near gondolas, but not overcrowded. Breakfast buffet had a decent selection (especially breads) and coffee was good.

NetherlandsNothing comes to mind.
One in our company was ill upon arrival and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating with extra tea, fluids and vitamins to take up to our room. It is a well run family hotel right at the start of the lifts, so perfect for skiing trips Also the half-board dinner was very nice and tasteful.

An absolutely wonderful place. Windows and a balcony overlook a flowering meadow. mountains, and mountain stream. Instead of a reserved single room, I was offered a double room for the same money. And additionally a one-day card for all lifts. A wonderful place for complete relaxation.

United KingdomThe only bad thing I can say is that I prefer when the reception is manned for say one hour in the morning & evening for questions instead you have to telephone ☎️ for any questions or help. (I am being ultra critical here as generally there's nothing bad to say).
Overall this is very well run 3 star hotel with good food 🥘 both breakfast and evening meal 4 course set menu meals at CHF 40 is reasonable as most Swiss ski resorts are between CHF 50 to CHF 60 for evening meals. A family run place with excellent ski boot dryers, the rooms are kept very clean my room 108 is a small double sold as a single and is great for one person 2 persons would be a struggle on wardrobe space I feel. The TV 📺 has plenty of English speaking channels a Samsung 32 inch at the bottom of the bed is convenient. The sliding wooden bathroom 🚽 door 🚪 that goes behind the wardrobe is a really good space 🚀 saving idea 💡. Of the 5 hotels that I've stayed at on my 22 day ski trip to 5 ski resorts this one has the best bathroom with a nice power shower 🚿 a good radiator for drying ski gear, a sink bathroom mirror that doesn't mist especially when you open the bathroom window. It reminds me of Hotel Eden in Saas Fee Wildi that I stayed at in March 2019. The room door key 🔑 is a card 💳 whereas all my others were key 🔑 that you had to leave at reception but I think I prefer the card 💳 as you can keep it and not mess around leaving it at reception. The breakfast 🍳 is a good boiled egg bread 🍞 brigade breakfast 🍳 not better than Hotel Montpellier breakfast in Verbier which was outstanding with so much cooked breakfast it was unbelievable but this one was still good 😊 enough. You can ski to the door 🚪 and the walk from the bus 🚌 terminal to the hotel is 15 minutes downhill with luggage but 25 minutes uphill with luggage when you leave. There is a hotel electric taxi that can pick you up only when requested by telephone ☎️ not email. The wardrobe has a small keyed safe for valuables not big enough for a laptop PC. The rooms lighting is very good 😊. The room heating is always a perfect temperature 🤒. The small desk next to the bed is handy.

United KingdomBreakfast was the standard continental fare, a hot option would have been nice.
The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the Spielboden and Plattjen gondolas. The tows for the nursery slopes are just meters away. We got the train and bus from Geneva and called the hotel when we were on our way. Someone was there to meet us when we got off the bus at Saas-Fee and take us to the hotel, which was great. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. We had rooms with balaconies and it was brilliant to sit out for a while in the afternoon before the sun disappeared behind the mountains. See the photo with the view from the balcony.
