Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe toilet/showers are very, very old (but clean). Shower head attachment was broken so had to hold the shower hand in one hand.
Great value for money, friendly staff, good location. My second visit, will book it again.

AlbaniaThe facilities felt a bit old and bed not very comfortable. I also experienced some inconvenience with the room card, as I had to check it at the reception multiple times because it wouldn’t open the door every time I came back to the hotel.
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Century in Geneva. The location was excellent, with plenty of buses around the hotel, including to Geneva Airport. There are also many restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets nearby, which made everything very convenient.

United KingdomI had to use a plug socket on an extension leads on the floor as there were no wall sockets. The Hotel still uses soap rather than refillable soap holders, which I think are a more environmentally friendly option. There is some external noise being next to a road, but not enough to cause me any problems sleeping.
The hotel is reasonably well located, being a 10 minute walk from Geneve Eaux-Rives Station, which has a good restaurant nearby on the way down to the hotel and is on the direct line to the Stade de Geneve. It is a short walk to find the tram and buses that link you to the main station in 15 to 20 minutes. The waterfront is about 5-10 minutes walk away and the Cathedral area about 15 minutes walk away. The reception staff were on duty during the day and late at night after I came back after the Women’s Euros and are friendly. The area felt safe and is reasonably well-lit. The two rooms I had were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was no internal noise and I had no problems as regards the availability of the lift. The hotel offered the Geneva Travel Card, which gave free travel on all forms of transport, throughout my stay.

United KingdomDated property.
Central location, friendly and helpful staff. It’s a very old fashioned hotel probably in need of upgrading but is clearly well maintained and as clean as possible given the age. Not the fault of the staff but there was no AC (municipality rules) so we were offered a fan, this fused the whole room and we had to change rooms in the middle of the night.

FranceStaff is very diverse. One of the receptionist, the blond guy on daytime, has a cruel lack of either brain, intellectual honesty or professionalism so I recommend to be careful regarding rates applied. The guy on night time, on the other hand is very professional.

GermanyThe fact that I couldn’t turn my AC on (the unit was turned off for the entire hotel until warmer time) AND the radiator in my room was warm/hot here and there (not sure why) resulted in me having to open the windows at night for some cool air but then it was noisy from the outside city life.
Breakfast was good, a bit more variety wouldn’t hurt though. Say, hot oatmeal and some vegetables would be a good addition to what is already being offered.
