Location and views were phenomenal. It had all the facilities we needed to cook, games and a lovely balcony to sit on and have a cup of tea overlooking the waterfall.

Minor issue. There was no lock on the bathroom door.

Great little apartment. Perfect for our family so we could eat in-house meals and have a place to hang out.

It didn't really bother us, but if you don't like walking up and down very steep slopes, this place might not be for you.

Even though the location is not central, it is a 10 min walk that is beautiful and refreshing... and the view... What a stunning view of the waterfalls. The owner was very friendly. We loved it.

The only downside, is that the chalet is a little bit confusing to discover the entrance door because (it is behind the house main entrance) and some of the beds are bunker so our elderly and young children had difficulties to access (which is ok if you are young, but it was difficult for my parents).

Amazing place! A true dream house — cozy, comfortable and with a warm, homey feeling. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay: a good coffee machine with coffee, oil, salt, kitchen paper, all necessary dishes, as well as clean, stain-free towels and fresh bed linen. The host was very responsive and helpful and kindly allowed us to charge our electric car. Big thank you for that! And the views from the windows… just breathtaking! I would love to come back to this house and this beautiful place!

nice place and the pictures are accurate.

    1) distance from train station is almost 900 m. 2) Path to the place is very inconvenient and difficult if you are having luggages on wheels. (going up and down steep slopes on paths (loose pebbles path or sandy path). 3) Only provided 1 rubbish bag in the kitchen (3 days stay). So if planning to do some simple cooking, need to buy your own rubbish bags….

The chalet was in a beautiful location. It was clean and comfortable, but also had many personal touches in the decor.

    Nothing!

Great location. The property had everything we needed.

The light in the hall was a bit too bright.

So charming! I mean, you are staying in a chalet in Switzerland. So much to like: —views!! of waterfalls from living room windows and porch —lofts and bunk beds for kids (fun!) —warm and cozy —they have a fondue set so we went to grocery and made our own cheese and chocolate fondue both nights. —location is very good to main part of town, can walk to or drive —free parking in front of your private entrance. This apartment is on top floor, owner lives on bottom floor. —sauna in front, plus a fire pit and outdoor dining table —owner was so genuinely kind and nice —laundry facilities available downstairs in technical room (shared with owner) —loved the natural wood throughout —there is a cute treat cart in the entry way where you can leave money for something you want to buy —while the bathroom is small, totally sufficient and the shower water and pressure was nice and hot (and we had 5 people) —good price and space for a family rental comparatively to others in the area! —all the chalet and cabin vibes!

We loved it! But a few things to note: —the owner and family/young kids live downstairs and he works on updating the property during working hours (never too early/late though). —some neighbors did not like us driving. We got head shakes and a flip-off from a 10yo. I rolled down the window and asked kindly to one lady “why are you shaking your head at us? What are we doing wrong??” She said this is not a road and i said… but yes it is, it’s the road to our rental home. And she suddenly became super nice! “Ohhhh well then, enjoy.” It has to be hard as a local living in a beautiful tourist town. So be aware and respectful. —it is somewhat “raw” and rough around the edges, rustic yet has all the modern amenities. Less hotel-like and more cabin-like. But that also brings charm!

Unfortunately we were disappointed given there are only positive reviews here. Maybe they are still renovating as the outside area looks like a building site and inside it sounds like one from early morning. Whilst not wrong, the pictures look much better than reality. Overall quality is low, with ill-fitting solutions, limited hot water, lots of rules, no dishwasher, knives falling apart and a lot of permanent marker throughout the place. Maybe if other reviews had been more balanced it would have been better.

This is a magical chalet in a magical location - loved it. It's at the mouth of the beautiful steep sided trough valley that inspired Tolkien's Middle Earth. It's full of family history that makes you feel connected ! You are welcomed with local meats and cheese that you can buy. Kids will love the mezzanine beds tucked away up wooden ladders!

There was nothing we didn't like
