Loved the spa area - really relaxing to be in the open air, next to the river, with the Matterhorn 'right in front'. Staff very friendly and excellent breakfast and 'jause' (afternoon fruit and cakes with tea and coffee). Excellent location to ski bus - and also only a short distance to walk to ski lifts (two different parts of Zermatt)

Excellent facilities with the spa and an outdoor heated pool! Pick-up and drop-off service from Zermatt station was excellent! Staff were really welcoming, attentive and helpful.

The room was not matching what we booked. The dinner food was not delicious, it was like pub-food.

The location was good and views to Zermatt but the deluxe room with the balcony was the not which introduced in the booking.com pages. It was smaller and more outdated.

Great location. The matterhorn view room was so stunning view. Good decent room size too. Also the hotel lent you a nice clean rucksack for a hiker who doesn't have one too, such a thoughtful gesture. We will definitely staying here again in the future. The breakfast always healthy options good for healthy people and vegan friendly

All other staffs are friendly, only one staff who worked during afternoon tea time was somewhat rude - by watching me using the coffee machine and ‘teaching’ me how to use it ‘correctly’ and telling me ‘trash’ for several times just to let me know there’s a trash can. Can’t believe why would someone just keep watching you for everything you do. I feel uncomfortable cause she doesn’t feel or sound friendly at all with her poker face🧐

Everything was amazing from the staff, room, breakfast (even as a vegetarian), views of the Matterhorn while you have your morning coffee. The spa area with a sauna, snow room and indoor and outside pool was so nice and exactly what was needed after a long day of hiking. I think this is one of my most favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a short walk from town and the train station. They offer a taxi service to and from the train station if needed. They even offer a backpack in the room for any hikes which was an extremely nice touch.

We have stayed here before. Great view of the Matterhorn from your big balcony. With chairs and a small table, and then couple chairs in the room as well that overlook the balcony and the Matterhorn. No air conditioner but does have a fresh air climate control feature, but we just open doors and windows in September. Refrigerator, typical 2 twin beds pushed together. Would be nice to have just a sheet but they have just two separate comforters, typical of Europe. Bed slept great. Breakfast is really great with a view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast staff were really nice. Happy retirement Christina. Right in the heart of Zermatt. We had a great stay once again. Thank you La Couronne!
