Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hotel doesn't provide laundry services but such can be found nearby the hotel
Super friendly and professional staff - special mention to Sharon and Thomas at reception. Very near location of the hotel to Cornavin Station, and surrounded by multiple restaurants and supermarkets Walking distance to Paquis Complimentary coffee and tea available 24 hrs

It was too hot in the room. Breakfast like most hotels in Genrva isn't worth paying for
Nice hotel ideally located close to train station and plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel is a bit older but still very comfortable and clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful

There was no in-hotel laundry service. But there were such services provided very near the hotel.
Location, Very Friendly staff particularly at the reception. They were very helpful and courteous. 24H coffee and tea service was really enjoyable and convenient particularly when you needed to work till late hours.

Rooms and staircase felt a little dated.

The breakfast wasn’t so great if you’re gluten intolerant. A better selection of drinks, even to purchase, and maybe a snack machine as we arrived at 10pm and no supermarkets/cafes were still open. It could have been more clear that the attic rooms didn’t have aircon (and were boiling even when 5C outside!)
The staff were very helpful, the dining space and access to hot drinks was superb. Outside terrace. The little fitness room was useful. Luggage storage.

It is a city center, so it could be a little noisy.
TThis is very nice place in the center of Geneva just near the lake. It is very easy to get to the hotel from airport using train or bus. Breakfast is only "cold", but very varied. The stuff is very helpfull.

Most of the tv channels were not working, and the setup was horrible, you had to zap through so many channels to find one that works. It was almost too warm in the room.
Very centrally located, 2mins from the main station, 5mins from the lake, lots of restaurants around. Water kettle with tea nad coffee. Free coffee and tea station downstairs in the lobby with lots of tables where you can work with your laptop. Spacious room. Comfy bed. Nice desk.

No croissants or bread available at breakfast by 9.00 am on one morning and little or no interest shown by the waitress when asked about it. Other than black coffee, the advertised free hot drinks all day were not available at any time except at breakfast. ‘No milk’ was the response from Reception. Unable to use TV due to ‘No Signal’ display on the screen.

I didn't sleep very well during my stay as some of the hotel guests were very noisy. Lots of banging, talking and loud music could be heard from my room at all hours of the night and early morning. Breakfast was nice. However, more hot food options (other than boiled eggs and toast) would have been welcomed.
The room itself was lovely, very clean, comfortable bedding and plenty of storage space. Great location, very easy to access the bus/trams/trains, with many restaurants (of all varieties) near by. All staff (reception/cafe/cleaning) were super friendly and helpful 24/7.

Limited breakfast options for vegetarians. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, but the handle for the bathroom door was broken and it was not addressed for the duration of my stay.
Great location. Very close to the train station. Lively neighbourhood.
