Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room had dead flies on the floor as well as live flies flying around both bedrooms. Completely understand it is situated up in the mountains so you’re going to experience this however the dead ones should’ve been cleaned up and if the windows were closed until guests could open them this would make it first impressions much better. The spa area was very basic, the pool was lovely and refreshing however a two person sauna meant there was a long wait and we didn’t end up using the facilities. Once we arrived we realised the drawers in our two bedroom apartment kitchen were locked. Upon further research and speaking to the staff we were told we had to pay an additional charge to use the kitchen in our own room. This was highly disappointing as we had already paid quite a high price for the room in order to have self catering due to my severe food allergies.
The view was absolutely breathtaking! Definitely the best part about the stay both from our balcony as well as from breakfast. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking is easily accessible and free which was great, loved the positioning of the hotel. Bed and pillows very comfy!

JerseyWe had an apartment for a family of 4. As adults we took it in turns to sleep on the sofa bed and gave the twin beds to our children. Also, the apartment we had was all locked up so we were unable to use anything on our first day. It was all resolved the next morning.

United Arab EmiratesWas very disappointed by ther rude and un co-operative behaviour of the female staff in the restaurant and breeakfast area. However the male staff were very coureous and helpful. Need some variety and consideration for choice in breakfast menu keeping Asian customers in mind. A shuttle service from main bus station would be helpful for those new in the region.
The scenic view from the room and balcony was very beautiful and same as advertised. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

SwitzerlandIt would be nice to get more information on arrival on how to use the wellness area. I wonder why the bathrobes are not at disposal in your room or directly at the spa, why you have to go hunt them down at the reception. Dinner options were unclear, we found no information on it.
The view from our room was breathtaking over the Thunersee. Food was good. Pool was nice, quite big and not overcrowded. Room was comfy.

United KingdomThe sauna is textile free meaning you have to be naked. I'm not comfortable doing this nor seeing other naked people and felt excluded from the experience. I would have loved spending time in the sauna but for the reason above I couldn't.
Beautiful place with very helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely amenities. We all loved our stay here and we would come again for sure.

BelgiumBetter room cleaning during our stay.
We were in a duplex flat. Very nice, magnificent view of the lake and mountains from balcony. Breakfast has all the healthy options you can want. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is fine too. Location is perfect for Niederhorn, and Interlaken and Jungfrau area is very easy to reach with public transport. Didn't have to use our car once.

SwitzerlandThe bar was not manned all the time but the service was fast and high quality when they arrived.
We appreciated the special attention and preparations for our toddler with even a bathroom kit provided ! The indoor kids zone was also very helpful for us given the mixed weather. The breakfast was excellent and the spa facilities were more extensive than many similar hotels. We also appreciated the quiet in the room.

DenmarkIt was a bit far from interlakentown, however, we were given free bus tickets to the bus which came every 30 minutes and drove down town.
The view was absolutely stunning! The hotel had it all, sauna, steam bath, pool, fitness, good breakfast buffet, and a restaurant. staff was also very friendly.

SwitzerlandThe hotel has a small pool and play area. We would appreciate however a few more attractions for the kids. I know the hotel is planning to upgrade the teen play area, so that’s nice to hear. We unfortunately were not lucky enough as there was no snow (sledding trail closed etc.), so it would be nice to have a few more options inside the hotel, especially that it is a bit remote from the town. Also, I find the price for breakfast per person very high. I live in Zurich for 15 years and we eat out every weekend, so in that sense I know Switzerland is generally expensive, but even then, I found the price for a breakfast buffet way too overpriced. Fortunately the kitchenette in the apartment was very well equipped.
Our family spent a New Year‘s Eve at the hotel and overall we were very happy with the choice. The duplex apartment was very well equipped, the only thing missing that would be nice to have were a kettle and tea mugs. Staff were very helpful. Rooms and bathroom clean. The hotel is located in a walking distance to Niederhorn funicular station. It is a perfect location to enjoy the attractions around the Lake Thun (Ski\sledding at Niederhorn, Beatenbucht, St.Beatus-Hoelen (a must!), Niesen, Lake Thun etc.). That being said, it is probably too remote for someone looking for a hotel directly in Interlaken or with easy access to the town center. Be prepared for a 30 min drive/bus trip down the hill. We have been in Interlaken twice during our stay to get bigger groceries, as the nearest shop and bakery are around 2 km away from the hotel in the village. Apart from that, facilitates in the hotel were nice. Very nice Spa, 2 bars, restaurants and live music in the evening. I would recommend the hotel for someone planning sport activities around the hotel (ski/sledding/hiking). For these, the location is superb.

PortugalThe mattress wasn't the most comfortable, super hard. We ordered room service, but had to pick it up from the restaurant ourselves, they wouldn't bring it to the room. Because of the configuration of the hotel, it is not the most friendly if you have a baby buggy - you have to carry it up some stairs, or take a longer route to get to some rooms.
The attention to detail. We had a baby with us and the staff left a little pouch with some products for him. The breakfast was really good, with nice options. The view was amazing and the room itself was well put together and comfortable.
