A bit of a walk if you come from Gimmelwald via gondola with heavy luggage. But fantastic if you come or go from Lauterbrunnen via mountain train and gondola.

Beautiful view and right across train station. Room with double and single bunker bed, has a balcony. Lovely breakfast and nice restaurant

Great location close to train station for a quick departure to the Winteregg chairlift in the morning and a short scenic walk from town. the family room was excellent for a family of 4., well designed with an upstairs mezzanine for the kids beds. Very comfortable beds and cosy room. Great restaurant too, we loved the pizza and fondue. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Would go back in a heartbeat.

It's quiet at night, but noise from the train station starts early (6am-ish). So if you're a light sleeper, close your window or get up early for hiking!

Extremely clean and snug and comfortable. The rooms are modern but with a cute, chill vibe. Everything well laid out: a light and outlet by every bed, lots of hooks to hang coats and hats, cushions for the balcony chairs, a little tray for muddy hiking shoes right outside the door. The staff is incredibly nice. And having local Schwarzmönch beer on tap right downstairs at the bar is a great bonus! 😋

Unfortunately the room was too hot, with no personal control over temperature, which meant sleeping with the window open most nights. When the transport starts up in the morning this can wake you up early. We were a little disappointed that the restaurant and bar were closed on two nights of our six night stay, with one of the nights not being forewarned of, which made dinner options limited.

Breakfast was really good. The hotel is in an excellent location from the train station and a beautiful walk to other spots in the village. The room was large and with a great view. The hotel was cute with lots of personality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food we ate in the restaurant was good and the fondue a real experience.

Really, there was nothing I didn’t like!

It was very clean, has great staff, (Ema, Arthur and all!) and is very welcoming! If you want a real look at the Swiss life, this is it. Unlike Lauterbrunnen, which is very chaotic, Murren is charming!Convenient location: walk down to the gondola and any place in the Alps is accessible! You have a choice of shared bathroom or your own in the room. We shared, and it was fine!

Everything was perfect! Location, room AND service. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Guest house and the food was delicious. Can not say enough how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. The room was modern and clean and very comfortbale.
