Staff is wonderful. Rooms are super clean and silent. It was a great experience.

My only feedback is that the hotel could do with better signage on the main street. We walked up to the address on Google Maps, but it took us a good five minutes to find the entrance. I think the wooden signboard on the main street said Schwarznasebar?

The staff were incredibly hospitable - and I mean everyone! From the shuttle to the front desk, the lobby bar, and the fine dining restaurant, everyone was warm, friendly, and eager to make you feel at home. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and especially well-suited for a family with two young boys. Most other properties will either suggest two separate rooms or a suite, which doesn't work as well. The highlight of our stay, however, was dinner in the fine dining restaurant - Ovis. The tuna teriyaki, in particular, was worthy of all 16 Gault Millau points for the exceptional restraint with which it was prepared. Our compliments to the chef.

Although breakfast was excellent, I would pack some coffee if you are a coffee drinker. Rooms have a kettle, but sadly no tea or coffee is provided. There is a tea station few floors down which we found quite inconvenient, having had to walk few floors down just to make some tea, and then carry it back few floors up. The tea station has no coffee, how strange! Also, the TVs are quite oldschool with no way to link your Netflix account. The live TV signal kept hanging every couple of minutes which we found quite frustrating. Nevertheless it was a great experience and we would deffinitely return to Europe hotel. Although this time we would pack a laptop and some coffee :)

We have just returned to the UK from Zermatt and the experience of the town and the hotel was absolutely outstanding. We found Swiss people incredibly friendly, and of course the mountain scenery is out of this world. All team at the hotel, and Chris in particular, took excellent care of us throughout our stay. They were all super helpful attending to all of our needs. We booked a room with Matterhorn view which was spectacular! The hotel is located only 5 minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurants street, which was very convenient.

Quite happy with the stay.

As a family leisure, we went for the suite, excellent for two adults and two children, everyone enjoyed it. The spa area is not big, but excellent for a few people, Sauna rooms are very designed and maintained. Breakfast was good. The restaurant OVIS was excellent, the chef, staff, food was amazing.

Room is very nice and good view unfortunately for me is when i stay not a good weather so I cannot get a good view. But if it clear I'm sure. Staff very nice to helpful us to go anywhere. Breakfast is very good very nice. If you choose some hotel at zermatt. This hotel is your choice. When I checkout staff tell me can leave luggage there. When I finish matterhorn and go down to station. I can call them and they will bring my luggage to station.

Even though you can not see horns-mountain in your room, but you can see it at the lobby restaurant. The exact reason I want to stay here is for meals. Buffet in the morning and evening was perfect. It worths here to spend money

Staffs are sooooooo friendly. Sooner or later I will visit here one more time . And at that time , I will stay here for a long time. And pick up and drop off service is wonderful and comfort.

The tv channel selection for English was very limited but that was the same throughout all hotels in Switzerland so it may be out of the property’s control.

The friendly, responsive and professional staff. Also the view from the balcony of the Matterhorn was nice too.

It was a very clean hotel convenient location and excellent staff. They were all about trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A few minutes walk to the center of the town location is excellent too. Breakfast was superb

We liked everything,but what we would like to suggest as an improvement is to provide with a tea bags in the hotel room (the kettle was already there). Moreover, it would be nice for kids to have a stool to wash their hands on their own. But it is rather an extra/ exceptional in hotels, so it does not impact my rating.

We liked that it was the atmosphere was very chilled and family friendly. It is not a family hotel,but very much open for families - some toys and books for childer in the lobby. We got also two baby cots in the room which was highly appreciated.
