Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanI didn’t need it, but l noticed that there was no hairdryer in the room.
The B&B’s location is perfect for any travelers who wish for a tight sleep in tranquil area and enjoy the view of countryside while remaining close to the airport. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast, although not with quite the variety, does have very good quality. Many items are as fresh as just being picked from their own farm. And Claire was super thoughtful and helpful in assisting us with information about transportation from the airport and to the downtown area.

United KingdomNone at all.
The room is spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Cleaning services are provided every day (although the bedsheets are changed once a week for ecological reasons). The kettle and coffee machine were also very useful. Highlight of the stay? Definitely how friendly and welcoming the host, Claire, is. The hotel is located on a farm, I absolutely enjoyed seeing the pigs, donkeys, goats, rabbits and chickens ❤️❤️❤️ (The animals are kept at a distance from the hotel, so there is certainly no concern about noise or whatnot.) It is also conveniently located a 2-minute walk from a shopping centre, where you can find a Co-op and two restaurants open until 22:30. There is also a McDonald’s across the road, right at the bus stop that takes you to city centre. Public transport is free: just remember to ask for the free Geneva transport card. Upon the advice of the host, I went for a swim in the Rhône, a 10 minute walk from the farm - it was a pleasure to take a dip in the river that inspired Van Gogh’s famous painting “Starry Night Over The Rhone”. All in all, a peaceful stay that offered breathtaking views of the mountains and showed me a different side of Geneva!

SwitzerlandThe only negative thing was that the walls are not very sound proof and our neighbor watched TV until late at night. I would recommend to simply bring some ear plugs because otherwise it is an amazing place to stay at.
Thank you so much for the amazing stay. The Ferme du Lignon was very uncomplicated and comfortable. The host was very friendly and the perfectly clean rooms were beautiful and contained everything you might need. The guest rooms are situated in a newly renovated farmhouse and on an actual farm. The surroundings are very calm and green despite being only 15 minutes away from the city centre. (You can get a transport card for Geneva and use buses for free).

UzbekistanIf you want peace and quiet after a hard day without the excessive noise of the city, but at the same time be mobile enough, this place is ideal. Courteous and friendly staff who will answer all questions, as well as a convenient transport interchange, nearby there are bus stops to the city center and airport, grocery stores and a small cafe to enjoy. A very comfortable, cozy and peaceful place in nature in the city

ItalyIt is in a great location, immersed in a green area of Geneva near le Bois du Frere. With different bus options, you can reach the city centre in 25 minutes. The staff is very supportive and available to help with your needs. Rooms are very clean and well equipped with a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was silent.

We were looking for an alternative to the usual business hotel for a one-night stay near Geneva Airport and were fortunate to discover La Ferme du Lignon – a lovely bed and breakfast style stay located within an old working farm on the banks of the Rhône River. Rooms are beautifully and tastefully renovated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The in-room Nespresso coffee machine/pods, kettle/tea bags, and wine glasses (buy a bottle from the onsite market shop) were a nice touch, although there are a few restaurants, a McDonald's, and a supermarket within a 10-minute walk. The host, Stefan, was super helpful and friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp – keep an eye out for head farm cat "Marius," a very handsome white and ginger boy. We didn't use the free public transport pass or have the buffet breakfast, but Stefan mentioned both were options for guests. Yes, La Ferme du Lignon is framed in part by views of the world-famous Le Lignon housing development (essentially a town within a town designed by architect Georges Addor), but it does not detract from the peaceful nature, ambiance, or charm of the property.

SwitzerlandNo clear instructions where to park, the facility manager was not in site in the weekend and therefore communication was complicated. The room was nice but the ceiling was very low in some spaces of the room and my husband could not stand straight much of the time. I did not like the pillow, but everybody is different
Easy to find. Nice location on a small farm. Newly renovated
