Only downside was that the room stayed warm during hot weather which was uncomfortable at night.

The hotel is in a good location for exploring the area. It has a small minimarket within 1min of the door. Good continental breakfast served. The lunch and evening meals are excellent and reasonably priced so that you can use every night without the need to drive around for meals. Also, very comfortable seating to relax and enjoy a drink. The owners and staff are excellent, very friendly, and knowledgeable on the local area and weather. Only downside was that the room stayed warm during hot weather.

The hotel is modern with wonderful decor and fantastic artwork created by the owner. The room was very spacious with a separate section off the main bedroom for our son. The beds were really comfortable and generally the hotel was very clean and well presented. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Freshly prepared meals with ingredients from their own garden which was a lovely touch. There is a play area for kids and lovely surroundings.

Just slight niggle. If you are very tall like me ask not to be on the 2nd floor.

Great location near entrance to St Gottard tunnel so you can beat the queues. Comfortable room (slightly low on 2nd floor but I am very tall). On site bar, restaurant. Restaurant prices expensive but it's Switzerland I guess! Food quality really good, great breakfast. Residents lounge with games and books. Will return.

The rooms were quiet noisy in that you could hear conversations from the room next door and also from the room above. But for one night it was fine. Advance directions to the parking space would have been welcome.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on route to Italy, as we wanted to drive the nearby Susten, Grimsel and Furka passes. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Bianca especially. Dinner was delicious Swiss/ German fayre. Gorgeous small hotel in a beautiful corner of the Alps

It CAN be noisy because of the wooden floor.

It is placed near to the Gotthardtunnel and the Sustenpass. Within 1 minute you are in the highway A2 again. The hotel itself is basic, but fine. Free car parking for guests, clean (shared) bathroom and ok breakfast.

almost got double charged but error was corrected but didn’t feel the vibe of one of the waitresses/employees. though this could be due to cultural differences but then the owner is super nice so I’m not sure. shared bathroom and shower. I know it’s the style of the property. I also have a feeling I probably ended up not getting the correct room. because I remember when booking it will come with a view which it didn’t. a few of a wall. but again, not the biggest issue

location was brilliant. and the staff were cool really likes the owner he is very pleasant. plus he has a lovely dog. I was late for dinner service and the lady still made me a sandwich so I don’t go hungry. breakfast was good too bikers: there is a safe place to park your bike at the property even though it’s shared bathroom and shower I found it was kept clean so didn’t feel like it was used by many people.

Tv is all German. Town is very small and nothing to do but for a stop overnight perfect.
