We stayed in Hotel Suisse for two nights, not one. We were the only guests and the lady on reception was very pleasant but she was the only member of staff and left at 6pm, returning at 7:30am the next morning. Consequently, we were alone in the building. There was no room service, no bar, no restaurant, no shampoos etc in the bathroom, no tea and no coffee making facilities. We couldn't use the lift as there were no other people in the building.

The room had a lovely view and the beds were comfortable.

This hotel is simply amazing, conveniently located in the centre of Champery. It's close to the ski lift (about 1km walk if you don't go on the complimentary shuttle which stops right outside the hotel). If you're planning to stay in Champery only, then you don't even need to hire a car. We met the owners who were incredibly friendly and welcoming, so are the staff. It is quiet and peaceful at night and the beds clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were fresh, filling and scrumptious. The view from the dining area, just breathtaking. The daily teatime was also a treat. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone with great enthusiasm.

Super friendly staff! Always received recommendations for dining out and they also did all the reservations, even we were not the earliest. Also with injuries they were a great help and did everything to help!

    All perfect

Exceptionnally welcoming host. A very nice hotel, central in the village, and excellent rooms. Breakfast was perfect, the host/hotel owner was very nice and friendly.

Very friendly (family run) hotel who were especially kind to my wife who is currently on crutches after a knee operation. The food was excellent too so we had dinner there both nights, we are very likely to return

    1. Cooked breakfast same every day and of poor quality towards the end (scrambled eggs overdone, bacon too crispy and with gristle or bone in it) 2. Very noisy snow plough at 5am and people in street - recommend room at rear rather than front of hotel 3. No restaurant for evening meals 4. In ski gear it's a long walk uphill from the cable car station so DO use the free navette!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful Rooms good size and clean with plenty of plugs and reasonable bathroom which had a bath and no just a shower - great for skiers!

Loved the tea time every day after skiing from 4 to 6 pm. Free tea and cakes (including fantastic tiramisu!) in the chill area.

As a selfie, breakfast was adequate, would have liked more fresh fruit. Simple clean room, but quite expensive.

    1) Unfortunately, the bar/lounge wasn't open due to (very) low-season. 2) The shower wasn't very comfortable to use as the bathtub is very narrow.

The staff and managers are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very nice and abundant.

No Internet WiFi signal in our bedroom and a little noisy at night as smokers from the downstairs bar, smoked directly below our bedroom window. This tended to be noisy with the socialising that went with the outside smoking.

The owner and staff were very friendly. The breakfast and afternoon tea was excellent. The room was a little small but well equipped and comfortable. The bed was comfortable.

Not really a bad experience but it is a little way to the lift. However, you can catch the morning but or walk.

Great central location. Helpful staff. Bar used by ski instructors for apres ski beer - made us feel part of the village. Basic facilities but that's all we wanted as we were trying to keep costs down. Lovely breakfast and afternoon tea. Perfect for those focusing on the skiing and not the hotel.

Breakfast would be better for such a good hotel, i.e. cheese not sliced, no small containers for jams, butter served on a plate, hard to tell whether it is real butter or margarine, waitresses do not offer egg.

Location, friendly staff, cleanliness, decoration, comfort of the room, bathroom and overall hotel. Mr and Mrs Berra, the owners are very kind and helpful.
