Nothing major! My partner would have liked an option for a firmer/extra pillow as the ones in the rooms were quite soft. It isn't a problem for me though..

We had an amazing stay here, such a lovely place! I would stay here again if I were returning to Interlaken. The staff were nice and breakfast was great too (I'm vegan, so options were a bit limited... But there are lots of different bread, jams, margarine, fruits, rosti, and even plant based milks, so it was all good). The rooms were lovely and clean. Our room was VERY warm! There is a mini fridge in the room, but kettle and microwave are only accessible in the dining room, which was open 24/7. In the dining room, there is a big selection of teas which I liked a lot. We didn't eat at the restaurant here, but I'm sure it would be nice. Location (from either Interlaken West or Ost) was around 10-15mins walk, but it wasn't a problem for us. The walk we had around Interlaken and to the station was always a delight.

Since the house is old, the height of the rooms may not be sufficient for tall people.

We liked breakfast, the possibility of making yourself tea 24/7, and useful information from the receptionist.

For me personally, I prefer firmer pillows to feather ones so that was the only downside. Also, there are no kettles in each room but is placed in the kitchen so if you need a cup of tea or hot water for your beverage then you have to go to the kitchen area, but the upside to this is that they have a fantastic selection of teas that you should try out if you are there.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The Bathroom was well equipped. Parking was right next door and available. The Breakfast was good and had a good variety for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There is also a restaurant under the hotel and serves Swiss and Thai cuisines. Please note that this property is 300+ years old (renovated since then of course) so it has the rustic charm and offers some really great views of the mountains. The staff were really nice and helpful and can guide you well if you need to know about visiting some places nearby. They also provide you with a free bus pass / travel pass in the Bernese oberland area that can be used on any bus and can get you some discounts on tickets (we got some discount on the Harder Kulm funicular).

Pillows a bit on the soft side for our liking.

Beautiful historic hotel and guest house dating back to the 1600s. Friendly staff, excellent restraint and exceptional breakfast. Rooms of a good size, well equipped with comfortable beds.

The water in the shower is not so strong though but is manageable, just have to take more time to shower.

Location is accessible, near bus station to both Ost and West. Breakfast is simple but very homey, I like their freshly baked breads. Staff are very helpful and the view from our room is outstanding. The hallway always smells good and room are clean all the time.

Only thing we thought was strange were there were no top sheets. Just a bed spread/comforter.

Charming chalet built in the 1600s! We loved how cozy it was and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The room was large and very clean! Great location and we loved the restaurant! Must try the Rösti!

The location is a little far away from all of the shops and restaurants. Also a good distance away from the train stations.

Needs a warm vegan option for breakfast. For example, the hash browns could easily be cooked without using dairy butter.

Extremely clean and cozy. Exactly the kind of place you are looking for if you want that classic lodge/wood cabin feel but with modern amenities and in a great location. There is a restaurant and bar on the lower floor, and breakfast is included in the morning. I loved that they had vegan milk for coffee and cereal as well as nuts, seeds, and fruits. There were many bread and jam options too, as well as vegan butter for toast, which was appreciated :)
