Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff in the restaurant was a little reserved when we asked about how to get to our room. No drama but a feedback meant to improve a little thing.

Tea and coffee in room woukd have been nice. Road a little noisy from 6am
Slightly out of town so very good value and great room with very comfy beds and pillows. Self check in was easy and it was a 10 min walk into town max. Restaurant on site, but didn’t try it.

Only issues was we each only had one pillow and it was very thin. Asked for more but they said they were out. Also it is hard to cool the room off at all because of the neighboring horse barn smells.
Great stay. Super nice staff that were willing to hold our bags after we checked out. House keeping remade beds everyday. Very nice bathroom with shower that gets very hot. Full size tv with YouTube and other services. Great view and only a 7 minute walk to restaurants/train station.

As the restaurant was closed, there was no breakfast served. We didn't know that in advance, but found an alternative close by.
Freshly renovated, clean and convenient. Parking in front of the house. Self-checkin worked perfectly fine.

A small refrigerator would have been a nice addition, though I understand they may not be standard in this type of hotel.
I had a really nice experience at this hotel. It was very clean and incredibly easy to check in. The room was also comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

There was a lot of movement outside the room later in the evening. Could have been other guests arriving.
Location great and a short walk to the shops plus supermarket. The restaurant on site was excellent and service great too.

Very easy check in process, clean and comfortable rooms. Our room faced the road and woke up to a beautiful view of horses across the road! It was a great place to spend the night before heading to the Therme Vals the next morning (a 25-30 minute drive to Vals)

Hotel does not respond to email and does not provide Invoice. You can only hope somebody is there in the Restaurant to help. Otherwise, you are left on your own.

No breakfast and no possibility to get one over the Xmas holiday. Problem was partly solved by supplying a kettle but this should be standard. On top of that the heating stopped working, which was not the hotel's mistake and they gave us a heater. Furthermore, they allowed us to cancel the last night and promised to return the money, still waiting..... Still, not a pleasant experience

No breakfast possible, no koffie or kettle in the room, no extra pillows or blankets, matras and pillow of inferior quality, no contakt with the landlord, you pickup the key from a box and put it back there 3 days later without seeing anyone to ask something
The room was large, there is private parking, our dog was allowed, very powerful heating system, the town is walking distance
