Suggest the property keeps strict rule of no smoking policy….Cigarette smokes from neighbouring rooms sipped through my room. Yuck! Surprised with extra and expensive train costs between hotel location in Taisch and Zermatt where all the actions lie!

The hotel is on the right side across the bridge when you get out of the train station. The google map could be wrong sometimes. This is not the hotel’s problem.

There is a comforting pine scent in the room, the decoration is classic. The stuff is super nice and the hotel offers luggage storage.

Proximity to train tracks makes it a bit loud, at least in the direction our room faced. Bed was a little worn out.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Requests for small things were readily met. Quiet hotel. Fridge in room and able to get a kettle and mugs on request.

Great staff, breakfast was decent. Location is close to train station but is at the end of the road so a bit of a longer walk than other places. You do however get a great view because of that. Everything was clean and comfortable!

The 8am active helipad literally outside our balcony I could have done without lol. I suppose some might like the giant tub/shower in the bedroom. I would have preferred a more standard shower / tub in a separate bathing room.

The view from the room was awesome. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Location was convenient to the train station.

We had a short stay and decided to leave our car in the hotel parking area. Unfortunately, it was damaged by another guest who drove off without leaving any contact information. The parking lot has no surveillance cameras, so we couldn’t provide any proof to the police or our insurance company. We strongly advise against using the hotel parking – and send our regards to the owners of the red car who chose to avoid responsibility.

The stay was okay for a short stop on the way to Zermatt. Close to the train station and the rooms were clean.

Parking of 10€ per day is excessive and should be included in the room rate (they have a big piece of grassland to park on). Breakfast was ok, but could be a bit more varied (only boiled eggs available, no scrambled eggs for instance). Restaurant only offers breakfast in the summer period.

The trains running past the hotel were very regular, finished late and started very early. Take ear plugs if you are staying on the side facing the rail track. No evening meal facilities at the hotel, but there are restaurants at neighbouring hotels.

The charge for parking our car for two nights was an extra 10 euro per night. This was not highlighted on booking.com

Its location to Zermatt shuttle train. Nice peaceful place with fabulous views of mountains without all the tourists.
