The staff to serve breakfast is not friendly. A tour group was having breakfast when we walked in the restaurant, the staff just directly demanded us to sit with the group without asking if we were with the group. The staff apologized later when he got to know that we’re individual travelers, however, the way he treated the tour group make me feel uncomfortable.

We were there for 3 days and out of 2.5days the outdoor thermal pool is not working which is the most important reason why we chose this hotel. Hence is is kinda disappointing.

A very relaxing place where there is no crowd.

Room was a bit cold. No towel dryer, and A/C so it got a bit humid.

Beautiful garden, own thermal pools, beautiful cold plunge pool, friendly staff, comfy bed. Bathrobes and spa towels for the whole family! We had a big fridge in the room for us to use. Perfect location for hiking, biking, and relaxing in a warm pool afterwards.

We mostly chose the hotel and destination because of the reviews of the thermal pools and it was not available during our stay. I recommend to check the availability of the facilities before travelling.

The breakfast was pretty standard, nothing outstanding. The hotel looks a bit old and the decoration (especially around the outdoor pool) could be better.

The parking spaces in the closed garage are very tiny and the access to the garage not very easy when there is snow on the ground

Restaurant staff were very friendly and super attentive. Unfortunately I don’t remember everyone’s name but the waitress Chloe and the restaurant manager Mr Salvador and the whole team were super sympathique and extremely helpful. The food is delicious and of the best quality. The breakfast bar caters for all kinds of taste and diet and I was delighted to see so much fresh fruit and healthy food.

The underground parking was full and I did not want to pay 8chf a day to park outside the hotel. Instead we parked in the Torrent car park up the road which was fine.

The hotel is super nice, rooms are comfortable, the view is amazing, the pool is quiet, the location is close to the town center. The staff is very nice: they came to pick me up at the station and asked me several time if everything was going well during my stay. They have bag lockers to store your luggage once you have left the room and they let you enjoy their facilities for the whole day on your departure day. Does not look as 4-star hotel. Much too small shower room , weak water pressure, no place to dry towels. We spent time in the hotel's thermal bath on both days of our stay. The premises and the water were much too fresh, we were cold in sweeming pool as well as outside water. Result - we both got cold. Hamam not warm, sauna the only warm place. On the way back, I wanted to take hot show in the thermal bath premises so that to take off my wet and cold swimming suit. However, the only individual shower cabin with door was locked and the cleaning staff (a woman) said it was occupied. I insisted and she opened the door. The staff warned me that the floor had just been washed with javel. That happened 30 mins prior to the thermal premises closure.

Breakfast was good. The staff in the reastaurand and the bar were very nice. Big comfy bad.

The property is in need of an upgrade with the public dining and internal reception areas dating from a long gone nostalgic era sometime in the seventies. The external facade is dated with timber finishes in serious need of replacement. Circulation to and from public spaces are complicated and lots of ups and downs via connecting corridors and strange little lifts with no doors. Its obvious that this hotel was extended and expanded during its history. Although the rooms interiors were upgraded not long ago, certain crucial things went left behind, like no soft cusions and no coffee or tea in the rooms. It somehow felt that the dinner and breakfast offerings was also left in that era. This hotel is probably rated 4 star for the warm pools only. Rating it anything more than 3 stars is not worth it for the money paid. It should be said that this property would probably be geared for a certain generation of the swiss population. For international visitors not so much.

Good Wifi - The external pool area combined with the internal pools are what attracts people to this hotel. These facilities are an obvious later extension to the property. The views are magnificent and the location was excellent to get to the town and restaurants.

It was a bit of a trail through stairs and small elevators to navigate around the buildings. I did not find it comfortable - my partner thought it absolutely charming. To be clear - one does not go outside at any point. Wherever you are, you can reach the restaurant, bar, fitness and spa area indoors.

Very nice staff - helpful and willing to share experiences they have in the area. I even got a verbal course in how to learn skiing.... There is a seasonal menu a la carte in the restaurant - not a lot of choice but enough to have something different every day when there for a week. Price is good and quality is excellent. Staff is always willing to switch between the half board choices and a la carte. On the topic of eating - breakfast is continental. Do not expect bacon, sausages and baked beans. But there is a good variety of eggs (hard, soft, scrambled) and a complete buffet of all one could desire. The Spa area is great - sauna, hammam, in- and outdoor pool (it is great in winter bubbling away in the snow). Rooms are good - clean, comfortable, great views of surrounding mountains. The location of the hotel is a bit off the center - quiet and minutes on foot from the town high life (one would need to look closely) and the gondola going to the large Torrent skiing area. Also easily reached on foot are an area called Sport Arena or Snow Arena (depending on season) in town, the lifts to the Gemmi area and a number of different Thermal baths. And when they say minutes - it is minutes.

Bathroom was very small. During the high season staff could barely provide full service; breakfast buffett was very crowded. Eating in Leukerbad is very expensive, even for Swiss standards and quality/service sometimes questionable.

The staff mixed up 4 bookings at the spa, and did not do anything to rectify the issue. Made an appointment for us to have a treatment and forgot to tell the therapist to come in earlier so my partner missed out on his treatment. The same thing happened with my sister in law. Supply and demand. If you have people wanting services, it would be nice to have more staff put on. The staff member did not care to rectify the situation, we were more of an inconvenience.I don't understand how you can make the same mistake twice. A bit scruffy throughout. Inconsistent WiFi. Small shower room. Bed and pillows were a bit too firm for me. Expensive considering the overall quality.

Large room. Nice spa area with outdoor hot and cold pools. Good breakfast. Good location, 5 minutes from the centre of town.

Only minor comment -- the breakfast is a bit the same every day. It would be also good to add to it some fresh vegetables (tomatoes/cucumbers)

The hotel is perfect. It has its own thermal bains, at open air and inside, both are fully operational during the winter. Amount of guests in the bains is quite reasonable, opposite to hundreds of people which you can find in public thermas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient -- close to ski torrent and public bus stop (Briggu) to/from Leuk.
