It’s located away from the centre of town which we saw as a positive. It’s very close to the cable cars to Klein Matterhorn. The property is quiet, clean and comfortable with a good buffet breakfast and all the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Everything was great

Nice big rooms, Matterhorn view, the loveliest and most responsive staff you could ask for, free muffins, excellent breakfast and a quiet area. We were sooooo happy with this hotel.

The view was amazing, the room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the breakfast was very tasty. The receptionist was super helpful: they agreed on us sending some of our excess backpack weight by post to the hotel before our arrival (we were hiking the Haute Route) and they also lent us a drying rack to dry our tent on the balcony. The hotel offers a laundry service as well and we were very happy with how our clothes came out. There is also a wellness space with a sauna and a steam room so this was a perfect place to end a long hike.

We had an overnight stay in Zermatt after taking the Glacier express. We booked mountain paradise for the views of the Matterhorn and we were not disappointed. The rooms were classic chalet rooms with balconies over looking the famous mountain. The hotel had a lovely dining area and a very relaxed and comforting vibe. We liked being slightly higher in the valley away from the Main Street and this required a bus or an uphill walk, but there were restaurants and amenities near by. We had a baby and were provided with a cot and kettle to warm formula also. Great little sauna and honesty bar also!

The shower was a bit small, but comfortable enough for me and my husband. If you are a big person, not much room to move around in.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, just what is needed before embarking on the days hike. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel is situated up on the hill, but there is a bus that you can take from the station to get there. We enjoyed walking up and down the hill.

What a location. Directly view to the Matterhorn from our balcony. The hotel is at the edge of town closest to Matterhorn. Short walk to town. Big rooms bathtub with sky window. Best room I have ever stayed in. Room 402. The staff and facilities was great. Breakfast could be a little more upped but was fine. We loved it. Look at the photo from our balcony the day we arrived. Gondola station only 2 min away from the hotel. Stunned. Goosebumps. Wow.

In a quiet side of Zermatt and close to the end of town where many good trails start. You can take the free bus to get there. It’s 25 min walk from train station if you choose to walk. There included breakfast was the best we had in our 2 weeks traveling the alps in France and Switzerland.

Breakfast was very good, good coffee (if you can share the brand we would love to hear) good central location, and the free busstop in front of the hotel goes every 25min, thanks for this awesome place.

Construction noise at 7:30 am near our balcony. Also, if you arrive after 7 pm, the village buses are not available and we had to spend 40 Euros for a short taxi ride.

Fantastic stay - despite the snow storm. We arrived just before the snow storm that left the village without power or transport for 2 days. The staff were great at keeping us informed with updates and advice where was open. They even managed to get a gas stove going so we still had breakfast! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable and we even had a view of the Matterhorn when the clouds parted. Would definitely go back.

I loved all of it, including the extended stay due to a power failure due to the weather. No electricity, no banks, trains, no mobile phones and very little cash. But it worked out really well, thanks to the Swiss, they know how to sort things out in emergencies.

My room on the top floor had a roof that came down quite close to the bed. But there was a lovely skylight in the bathroom.

The breakfast is awesome and the breakfast room has stunning views of the Matterhorn! The sauna and steam rooms are great. Loved the bathrobe and slippers provided.

There is nothing that we didn't like!

We got stuck because of natural disaster on 16th April 2025 and instead of one night stay, we remained there for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and did not charge for additional 2 nights and still served us complimentary breakfast.

The view was breathtakin from our room and our Breakfast area! Perfect view of the Matterhorn!!! The people were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great!!
