Cash deposit - at a time when cash is hardly used, I did not want a large amount of foreign currency at the end of the holiday. Bed linen, 2 single winter duvets on a double bed during a heatwave.

We found that noise travelled between rooms and we couldn’t work out how to close the shutters in the double bedroom on our windows. I’m sure Elizabeth would have shown us had we asked but the early starts meant we had more time to get out for walks and explore😀

The property was spacious and comfortable and had the most breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Everything that we needed was provided and there was a shop nearby to get fresh bread and other food supplies. There was lots to see and do nearby. We were spoiled for choice!

The hosts Elisabeth and Felix were friendly and kind. We were treated with a complimentary bottle of Swiss wine upon arrival - delicious. They anticipated our every need. The apartment had everything we needed and more. It felt like home away from home. They were so considerate of my grandfather (88 years old) who travelled with me. We had a wonderful stay.

The host Elizabeth was great, our flight was cancelled and boarded other flight and reached apartments at midnight, they are in touch with us and handed over the keys with a smile. Amazing hosts.

All the facilities in the house was great! We have all the amenities needed in the house. The house view is really great and beautiful. Fit all of us 6 people in the house. We really have a pleasant stay during our holiday. Host was really great and really helpful! We love Elisabeth and Felix! Both of them really helped us. Thank you so much Elisabeth!

Great place to stay. We came from US to ski. Location was great. 45 min to skiing resort and 1 hour to Zurich. Studio was small but we had everything what we need. Property managers Elisabeth and Felix were excellent. When we come next time we probably book the bigger apartment. They have different size options.

We had a great stay at Elfe Apartments. The owners were very friendly and gave us some information about what we could do in the area. The apartment is situated in a small and quiet village. It was very clean and cozy and we had a beautiful view of the lake. It was only a 30 minute drive to the Engelberg ski area.

We were happy with everything.

The most amazing view from the living room and balcony. One bedroom and a living area with kitchen. Cosy but spacious enough. All ceilings were full height. Nice and warm even when cold outside. Easy drive to Lucerne and many other beautiful places.

No real complains here, but I will mention few minor ones: The parking was accecible through some steep stairs, which may not be so comfortable for everyone. Not sure this was the case for other appartments as well. The shower, which was clean and great overall, is a bit on the small size. There is no double bed option, only if using the sofa. The built in bad is opened as two tween beds. I guess some couples will find it less ideal. The beds were comfortable and clean. Emmeten is very nice and peaceful location to stay, but anywhere you go you need to drive up/dows the mountain it sits on. Very nice views indeed, but when coming back after a busy day, when you tired and it's dark, it can be somewhat annoying to drive.

Very nice room, clean and very well maintained. You have all the facilities needed for cooking, and everything is in an excellent condition and clean. The view from the balcony was great too. Warm (and direct) hosting, which really puts attention to details, always happy to chat and recommend where to visit. It is definitely a place I would come back.

The owners of the apartment are very friendly people. The apartment is spacious. We were a family of 5, 3 of which were children. The view from the balcony is stunning. We saw amazing sunset. Perfect cleanliness in the kitchen. Bed linen and towels are soft and smell delicious. Cozy cafe next to the house.

There is nothing to dislike

Great apartment for a family. Perfect location with a lake view. Cleaned and well maintained. All the essentials things are present. Close to a grocery shop Volg. Owners were exceptional…waited for us till midnight for our late checkin. They provided all the helpful documents to navigate around Switzerland. Had a great here and will definitely recommend everyone

The only observation is that use of the washing machine is not within the Apartment itself and you have to pay to use it. This was not stated in the description posted on Booking.com

It was a wonderful stay in an excellent apartment and amazing place near Luzern lake with unforgettable views to mountains and lake. All good. You will need a car to visit, but well worth the drive up the hill.
