Location is nearly perfect, right next to the trainstation and lake The hotel also gave us a Ticino Ticket which allows free travel on all buses and trains in Ticino : we used it a lot and makes travelling in the region very easy

This is an exceptionally warm and welcoming establishment, attractive and comfortable. Breakfast: Many offerings presented buffet-style, plus individual requests prepared such as hot cereal, eggs.

Absolutely perfect!!! The room was really confortable and clean. A bit old styled but really authentic and cozy! Location absolutely perfect! The owner and her employees are sooooo sweet and nice! Even the building is beautiful and cozy!!! We will come back and stay again at the Piccolo!

This is a very individual hotel, with some very interesting artefacts in the public areas. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Being able to make a hot drink in the evening in the lounge was a bonus. Staff were really friendly and kind, and breakfast was excellent.

Has more of a Bed and Breakfast vibe than that of a hotel, but truly excellent! Will definitely come back! A small hint: if you ask on the previous day they will give you a breakfast with more limited options already from 7:30 am (instead of the regular 8:00 am)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was very tasty (with delicious fresh bread). The location itself is very good as it is close to the main attractions Locarno offers. We'll definitely get back there. I do recommend!

Very nice place to stay, not far from the railway station and the lake. Great breakfast with a lot of options - fruits, pastry etc. The hotel's decoration is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The location is very quiet.

- The hotel building is pretty old, sometimes the water pipes are pretty noises, especially during the night.
