I did not like having to leave my key to the room during the day. I understand this helps with loss/cost of key replacement but it gave me anxiety to think anyone could have access to my belongings during the day. I wish there was a better system. Maybe in the future, keypad codes?

The host was super responsive when our check in got delayed, and even picked up a late night phone call when we were too tired to think straight upon check in. Of course there are stairs, it's Europe! Just don't pack what you don't want to carry ;) The view is worth it. I think my friend and I had the best room in the house, top floor middle balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom was stocked with fresh towels, a hair dryer, and bathroom tissue. Breakfast was so appreciated, fresh fruits, breads, made to order eggs, cereal, yogurt, a feast for a king! The location was perfect walking to Interlaken West bus/ferry to Thun and many restaurants. Interlaken looked like a cuckoo clock village come to life! Thank you for making our stay memorable.

The hotel was in a good location only a few minutes walking distance to the train station Interlaken West, and easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants between Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost. The staff was very friendly and helpful and responded nicely with requests

It would have been even more convenient if basic toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, or a dispenser were provided.

We truly appreciated the early check-in, which was extremely helpful. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, and it was great that they were so comfortable communicating in English. The breakfast spread was excellent, with plenty of variety. The location was perfect—right in the center with easy access to both the train and bus stations.

The hotel was the perfect mix of Swiss charm with modern facilities. The en-suite shower room was very modern and clean.

Expensive for a 2/3 star hotel. It does not have an elevator, we were on a 2nd floor. The rooms are extremely small and very very basic. At breakfast, which runs only until 9.30, there were some English speaking ladies not friendly at all, and basically “kick us out” one minute after 9.30.

The outside of the house was very picturesque. The Portuguese staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was good.

You can hear traffic noise from the front, however, it is worth it for the view! Also, the bathroom fan is quite noisy!

My daughter and I had a great 4 days. The breakfast is fantastic , with a choice of different eggs. We recommend scrambled eggs !! It's close to Interlaken West. An easy bus route to Interlaken Ost, or a 25 minute walk. We had a view of the mountains from our room, which was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings.Lots of places to eat close by if you don't want to walk very far.

No AC, & our European electronics adapters didn’t work because Switzerland has a different size, but they loaned us a fan, which helped so much to keep it cool, & an adapter, which we very much appreciated!!

The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful! Since it was our anniversary vacation, they decorated our room with hearts, rose petals, & swans. We were surprised & delighted! The room was beautiful & so clean!! We loved the balcony they gave us (& the fan since there’s no AC). It was a wonderful experience!!
