We loved our room! It was very typical and cute and super clean. The hosts were very welcoming and the value for money is great. The environment is also incredible, great views from the room and the road to go is beautiful.

Our room did not have a toilet so we did have to step outside the room to go to the loo. The toilets were private to us but still had to cross a shared corridor to go. Not a big problem for just 1 night !

The food in the restaurant is excellent. The host is very helpful and friendly.

The floors make squeaky noise when someone walks and during the night when is quiet is very noticeable.

The rösti were good, the staff was very friendly, the location was nice.

The room was disappointing. We stayed in a triple room called Genf, which was very small and crumpy, and looked a lot like a badly layed out caravan with synthetic linen. We all slept badly. Overpriced for what we got.

Location was good. Breakfast was poor but acceptable.

Very disappointing stay. After a 12-hour trip and 2 hours stuck in Swiss highway traffic, the owner first questioned why we hadn’t called, then asked for payment outside before even letting us in. No welcome, just “pay first.” The room had no window, airless, with stained sheets and hair on the floor. The water jug was empty, so we had to fill it from the tap. Overall, unacceptable hospitality.

Lovely location to explore from. Nice comfortable room. The owners are lovely and prepare everything including the delicious food. Breakfast is good, ample with good variety. We'll located for driving some major scenic passes. Comfortable room. Location is fairly deep in a valley.

Staff/owner here were exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing (the rosti was perfect), and the beers were nice and cool which was very much needed after a long day riding. There is a car park opposite which was great for cars and motorbikes.

There is no AC in the room; it was very hot throughout the night, so just be aware if you're going in summer months. Location is great for access to Susten Pass, but it is quite isolated if you wanted to venture out of the hotel. Some rooms have shared WCs, used by the customers in the restaurant also.

The hosts were very friendly and tried to sell every food item in their stock. Room window opens to the front of mountains.

Very basic room. Towels were not washed. One can clearly smell them. Hygiene was very poor Toilet was shared with restaurant customers, it wasn't clearly mentioned in the booking. Drunk customers pissing around the toilets and found it in disgusting state.

The Location of this Hotel is one of the most aesthetically pleasing views of any hotel i've ever stayed at. The owners were so accommodating, very friendly and looked after us. Worth staying the night just to sit and eat dinner overlooking the mountains.

The room didn't have air con, so we were a little warm at the night, but we had a fan so that alleviated it.

The floor makes a lot of noise. Too much flies in restaurant downstairs during breakfast. A bit away from towns, but that really depends what your plans are.

Lovely Gasthaus/hotel, beautiful peaceful location with stunning views of the Bernese Alps. Friendly and accommodating host with a good restaurant. Yes as per the reviews the Rösti is definitely recommended. It’s a great base to explore the area and this beautiful valley.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good. The staff gave us great tips for outings.

The ceilings are quite low, but the building is a typical Swiss farmhouse, so that is to be expected. There were roadworks on the go, but that had nothing to do with the hotel.

It's not a disadvantage, but you must be aware, that a bathroom is shared.

Everything was really great. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, the staff very friendly. The food and drinks very tasty. Lot of free parking. Beautiful ambience and surroundings. Great place to relax with the family.
