People being able to smoke on the balcony. Each morning our neighbour was smoking which ruined by morning coffee on the balcony and we weren’t able to keep our door open because of the smoke.

The property was clean and the staff were lovely. The views of the lake were stunning!

Hotel needs a renovation. Junior Suite looks outdated, showering in a small bathtub etc.

Nothing to fault … but there was construction next to hotel caused noise during the day . However hotel informed and apologised in advance .

Lovely location by lake Geneva and short walk to centre and near bus routes too. Room was lovely, large and comfortable. Morning breakfast in reception area was reasonably priced. Nice leisure suite too.

I have a lot of memories of this hotel when I used to visit every year for the Rose D’or TV Festival between 1990 and 2002. It was then a 5 star hotel in the best tradition. It has now lost its sheen, although still worth a visit. The Bar is on the ground floor with a good space outside when sunny and warm. The Bar is named Sinatra’s ! It should be renamed Dark side of the Moon, heavy rock music is the order of the day……shame !

The location is perfect, some of the staff were good and attentive, the rooms are well appointed but there is an air of not as good as it was. The Valet and the restaurant manager were exceptional, stand out members of staff. In fact the restaurant manager should be running the Hotel.

Poor condition of the underground parking and corridors to the parking. This part needs some refreshment. Plus if you are not used to, you will be surprised how small are the parking spaces and the fact that you need to pay additionally for this (at least we had to)

The hotel is located in the centre of Montreux in the first line of the slake coast. Room was in good standard and clean, but form the street side so it was relatively noisy. Restaurant and breakfast with plenty of choice. In front of the hotel, places to sit, relax. The reception helpful, as part of the stay you get a free ticket to travel with the public transport and some discounts for local attractions.

Looking a bit tired and dated now - could do with lighter decor in bathroom - dark, no daylight - but everything works well as you’d expect from a Swiss hotel! The balcony shades automatically come down for a while during the afternoon, blocking out the sun - no idea when that’s going to happen not when they’ll go back up

Room and decor felt dated..not sure why they gave two single beds to a couple? Beds were joined together but had a ditch in the middle, and imoved during L-Making. If not careful, you might end up in that ditch ..I nearly did - twice!

The best thing about my stay was the incredible view looking out from the balcony. It was serene and soothing. I also enjoyed Sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and shower in the spa. Lush!
