Even though there is WiFi, the possibility to connect the tv to the internet is disabled. Also connecting to the WiFi on your phone through an SMS code did not work (SMS code is not being send). To me it is an outdated system but it did not spoil our stay.

Big room and big bathroom. Everything is very clean and because it is an institute for paraplegic research everything is wheelchair friendly. The lights go on automatically although at night it is not my preference. A coffee machine is always a nice touch.

They didn't have a shower chair for wheelchair users.

The location was amazing. There were free parking spaces. And this hotel was completely accessible for wheelchair users. THe lake near the hotel was gorgeous.

Don't expect a cosy country hotel at a lake. This is a large conference hotel embedded in a huge hospital complex for paraplegics. Huge underground parking lot with cryptic access to the surface. Not very cheap: Expresso in restaurant costs SFR 4.80, parking fee SFR 10.00 per night.

Nice conference hotel, good restaurant, good breakfast, nice staff, easy to reach. Nearby access to free public lake bathing site.

The Hotel is just too big!! Our room was way too far from the reception and restaurants. It felt like being in some weird si fi movie I met two other guests who were both lost I was very dissapointed when we were asked to pay 12 euro for overnight parking

No view of the lake from rooms. Institutional style of rooms.

Disappointed in the location, the distance from the lake and access to the lake. The way rooms were arranged felt like a school camp and there were no views of the lake from our room. Meals were very expensive.

Low quality breakfast, we were placed in the middle of bigger group which was very noisy, the shower was not well drained, lack of daily cleaning, no iron, and only one chair on the balcony.

It was great located and easy to get the parking spot. The beds were very comfortable, also we had a coffee machine.

Parking and navigating to and around the hotel is difficult. Feels more like an institution hospital than a hotel. Strange atmosphere

-we had dinner in the restaurant and we asked for tapwater; we needed to pay 10 CHF -there was no AC/ventilation in the room; we couldn’t sleep because of the heat -there was a summer camp in the hotel; kids were screaming in the hallways

The photo’s on booking.com are not at all according to what is offered. Main building is oke. But the other buildings are ugly, was not presented at booking and not expected for this price. No airconditioning.

The staff was nice, the bar /lounge had a nice atmosphere. The room was nice. The main building looked good. The hotel was easy to reach.

I was lucky with the rare best view possible towards the lake, but basically, you look onto the huge clinic below and the hotel‘s name sounds way too idyllic foe what it is… 😕 And, as many rooms seem to be ‚barrier free‘, I had such a room & bathroom, and didn’t like the ‚bathroom design‘ (and how the door was automatic, the lighting etc..). I also had difficulties with the temperature in the room which reception told me was centrally regulated which I don’t appreciate. I think my room was heated to the south side and too warm (even with airing it a lot before bed time), which didn’t contribute to good sleep ne bothered me… parking garage felt confusing and not clearly marked / signed.

Location of the room and food services.

The hotel was not expected to be when you are on holiday or just needed an overnight. It seems to be a rehabilitation resort for disabled, which might be for them a perfect place to stay. The rooms were at an outside building and not in the main building and the view was an office building. On Sunday the majority of restaurants are closed and there was a possibilty to eat at the hotel restaurant. This was very disappointing. They had a small menu card too choose from. The price for a small salad and flamkuchen was over rated and not even tasteful. Too high priced for a bad dinner. Our stay was dissapointed.

Even though I chose to pay at the time of booking, I was asked to pay again at the check-out and now have to wait for unblocking the initially paid amount. Moreover, the hotel blocked CHF 50 for additional potential services which I never intended to use. The check-out took much more time than in any other hotel. The room is very hot and not air-conditioned. The breakfast is served only until 9:30 and the check-out is until 10:30, which is very uncommon for a hotel of 3 stars or more (most 4-star hotels offer check-out until 12 pm). Overall I cannot recommend a stay there, it is definately not a 4-star hotel.
