DenmarkHotel feels old and run down in the halls with guest rooms and in the guest rooms. Lounge and bar is OK without being great (slightly kitsch Italiano theme). The hotel does not stack up to the quality level of Rocks Resort and Laax in general. It is in desperate need of an overhaul.
Excellent location in Laax and decent option for a weekend stay as Rocks Resort was unfortunately only available for week long stays.

DenmarkThe hotel is a bit worn in the sleeping areas. Paint is falling off the room doors and in general the hotel looks tired in these areas. The same is the case for the Spa and the fitness area. The bar and restaurant area, however, has clearly been refurbished later and felt new - and nice.
Great location in Laax in proximity to the lifts. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service, incl recommendations to hikes and other activities.

AustraliaI do not speak Swiss German so had no idea what was going on in the hotel day to day apart from what I was told at the welcome drinks. We stayed for NYE and would probably have joined some of the hotel celebrations if we knew what was going on. I think a leaflet dropped in each room with event information weekly would be helpful. Given we weren’t the only Non Swiss German guests I think a reasonable request and good for business to provide in both languages.

Germanybed was a bit hard for me. only 1 pillow each. we would have liked to ski our last day but with our dog we couldn’t get late check out and obviously couldn’t leave him in a cold car.
excellent location, easy parking, and loading ski stuff into lockable ski lockers. tunnels go from hotel to parking garage to ski locker to ticket area . right next to the main gondola. staff at the desk is friendly. massage was great. spa area is great, with saunas and a cold pool and relaxation room. main pool was a bit cool for my taste but considering the energy crisis it’s understandable. pool had massage jets. breakfast was great, large offering. rooms were mostly renovated. it’s a ski hotel so there are scratches on the walls and older portions of the hotel that haven’t been updated. lots of restaurants in the area. I imagine it’s very busy in season with the many rock resort buildings next door. I would reserve restaurants in way advance. dog friendly.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is in the middle of a bunch of apartments and feels like a mini city in the mountains. The charm of the area is lost due to the over development of the location. I was unaware that parking was an additional charge. Overall with the price of the stay, the location, the room etc.. I didn't feel as though it was a great deal. Will not stay again.
Breakfast was a highlight. Typically Swiss but defined by its quality, especially the breads. The staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomDecor was a bit tired, and was a shame the place was so busy we couldn’t always get a table. It didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel compared to others I have stayed in.
The property was nice, a little dated in the rooms but main areas were modernised. Staff were good, the man who checked us in was particularly great, very charismatic, spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome. The location was also fantastic and great to have ski lockers so close to the lifts.

SwitzerlandThe hotel in general was beautiful, they even decorated our room for my partner’s birthday! Great breakfast, comfortable parking lot at a reasonable price, a few great restaurants to try just in front of the hotel. We also adored Treetop Walk, amazing attraction really well done right next to the hotel and had a discount with the Guest Card! The highlight of our trip were the spas! The hotel’s Spa was just perfect, and with the Spa Around offer we got free access to a few other spa’s in the area. Loved it!
