Nothing. Wonderful hotel and staff.

Everything, from the staff to the hotel itself - is absolutely PERFECT. We could not have chosen a better place to stay, at which to celebrate our Anniversary. We were picked up at the train station, warmly greeted by the Front Desk Staff, and arrived in our beautiful room - to a bottle of Prosecco, and a kind note from the General Manager. We were treated like royalty throughout our stay.

I think the hotel management should look into the service of the restaurant staff on the breakfast, it seems that they can’t perform under pressure!!! 2 days they missed my order and on the third day I went out of the hotel for breakfast!!!!!!!!

Slowish check in, but we were shown around the hotel after check in, which was very helpful.

A grand hotel with high end service and facilities. Our room, at the back of the hotel, was totally quiet and had a separate sitting room or lounge area and so felt like a mini apartment. . The beds were super comfortable. Shuttle to the train station was very appreciated.

Service in La Piazzetta bar/restaurant was a bit slow..and it wasn’t busy.

Best location in Lugano, opposite the lake, with amazing views. Staff were so friendly, and we were upgraded from a superior room to a deluxe lake view room which had amazing views

The room was disappointing because it was not the same room as they show in booking and I talked with the manager about my complaint and they make a small discount which was very kind of them.

The breakfast was great and the view is perfect while you having your breakfast.

Not much I don’t like… maybe it’s too close to the street?

What impressed me the most was the eye for detail. For example: a nice case for the tv remote, a leather stool for your purse at dinner, giant curtains that open and close air tight with adjustable ropes that are super easy to manage… we got upgraded to one of the big rooms with a balcony right on the lake. The staff are beyond friendly and I love the old fashioned, palace-style decor.

Some staff members were better than others. It is a very posh hotel with customers that have financial wealth and if you did not give off that vibe at times there was a small feeling of indifference from certain staff members.

Its location, its design, the views, the beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.
