The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, which makes it a great stop-over for hiking. Single rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is helpful and kind. Good enough breakfast, although not the best I have had in Switzerland

I believe there is better bread in Switzerland :)

The location is amazing: in front of the train station, yet so close to all ski facilities and resorts. The view on the valley is very nice. The bar in the hall is perfect for a chill in the late afternoon or for an aperitive pre-dinner. The room is small but cozy. The owner was very nice and helpful during check-in and -out.

Unfortunately, the hotel was quite understaffed to take care of its services and offerings. During our stay, breakfast was never ready in the morning, and we had to inform the staff about it who were not aware of the situation. The bar was usually empty even during opening hours. Additionally, our room had not been cleaned, and the cleaning lady arrived only late in the afternoon. On top of that, some services were not working properly since during our stay the heating system in the swimming pool was not working and the water was freezing

Very friendly staff and warm welcome. Very good breakfast. Delicious menu for the New Year's Eve dinner and no problem with offering a vegetarian menu. Loved the trio of musicians who played during the dinner. Hotel was very easy to access from train station. Room was very clean and spacious and bed very comfortable.

WIFI didn't work most of the time and this was frustrating. Room seemed a bit overheated. Shower could be difficult to regulate.

The staff where great, really friendly, helpful and competent

If you're going and expect a hotel like in the photos on their website you'll be disappointed. It's all a little old, a little scruffy (carpets with big stains, mouldy shower curtains that are way too long for the shower). It's fine to stay there, it just seems too expensive for what you get and doesn't match how it's presented online.

the hotel badly needs maintenance. even the bathroom in my room was torn from many places.

Great location right next to ski bus stop. In town with a many restaurants nearby. Staff were excellent

The hotel is very conveniently located a two-minute walk from the station. The two single rooms I booked were extremely small, but the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. There was plenty of choice at breakfast.

In my room I had a large single bed but it was too large for the space it occupied so it was impossible to get past the bed when entering or leaving the room, or going to the bathroom, without stepping over it or turning sideways. The bed was made each day but my drinking glass was not washed or replaced, and one day I left the face cloth and hand towel in the bath to be replaced but neither of them were so I was left with just a bath towel. In my friend's room, again the drinking glass was not washed or replaced, and she found it impossible to direct the shower head.

Location is very good.
