Wifi isn't so good

Hotel is Amazing!!! Location is very close to the station and opposite to migros that you can get things very easy. The room is clean. Reception​ is very hospitality and helpful. When we arrived and checked in the room that doesn't have nice view so we asked him to change the room to have city view. He gave us the city view, higher floor and upgrade us for free. And gave us useful information for traveling. I very recommend​ to stay here for sure. Breakfast​ is good.

Front staff seemed to be under construction so office seemed to be temporary. Some staff could spend more time helping foreign staff. Rooms have a large actual key which can be cumbersome. Bathroom is small the easy to leak water from shower.

It’s just not the same making a cup of tea with water from a coffee machine. Is it possible to provide a small kettle? The door to the bathroom/shower room also needed to be cleaned as it had fingerprint marks, but otherwise the room and bathroom were clean.

Comfortable spacious room. Coffee machine, coffee pods and tea bags provided. Very near to the main train station. Walking distance from the centre. Bus links nearby. I wasn’t expecting to receive a bus ticket from the hotel but that was very useful. Additionally received voucher codes for local museums and shops/restaurants; although I wasn’t able to take advantage of them it was nice to receive.

Stayed here for two nights. Located next to Luzern main train station and 5 minutes walk to the boat / ferry station (for those taking excursions etc). Rooms facing front of hotel are a bit noisy due to the location of the hotel. During my stay, upon request, I was moved by Nadim (at reception) to a room facing the courtyard. Newly renovated beautiful room. Super quiet (room 5002). Laura and Nadim at reception both were super helpful and courteous. There is a restaurant within the hotel which I didn’t try. McDonald’s, Burger King and a super market all literally across the street along with many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I would give this hotel a 10+ for the location. Had a great comfortable stay at this property. Special THANK YOU to Nadim at reception for the awesome room upgrade!

Breakfast. Although we didn't pay for this - thankfully, it was probably the worst European breakfast offering we had ever experienced. The amount of food presented at the buffet was enough to feed maybe four people? We laughed between each other, asking if they just wanted things to be REALLY fresh? Who knows. But, lesson learned and we enjoyed an amazing Cafe style breakfast a block away at the Movin-Pick.

The location of this older Swiss hotel was perfect for us. It was only a block from the main train station and very easy to get to with large luggage. The standard room option was VERY large for an older European hotel of this age. The staff, for the most part were very helpful.

I did not like the concept of the bathroom with no proper door and latches. If one is sharing the room then this type of arrangement is not comfortable. I wish the hotel had a good exhaust fan in the bathroom. The bathroom was big and clean but due to lack of proper privacy I felt let down. The reason I am giving less points is for the bathroom arrangement. Another drawback was the windows are very small in the room. One can barely see anything outside. But then if you are going out the whole time this is not much of a problem, it is manageable.

The best thing about this property is the location. It is right across the main Lucerne railway station. Also it is within walking distance of all the main attraction of Lucerne city and old town so its very convenient. The staff especially Mr. Nadeen was very helpful and friendly. It made things very convenient. I am thankful to all the staff for guiding me and helping to make our stay comfortable. I had booked comfort room which was quite big in size so was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this place for the location and its staff.

Room key comes attached with VERY heavy keychain so we just left our keys in the reception everytime we travel out. Rooms can be abit hot as its in the city compared to the mountain areas, so when we open the windows at night, still would need to switch on the fan. We traveled in mid September. As it's near the train station, it's pretty noisy at night and early in the morning. Light sleeper might find it difficult to fall asleep/sleep in.

Best location as it's just NEXT to the main train station. Room is one of the most spacious we've stayed in Switzerland. Breakfast spread is amazing, definitely worth paying for it! Clean room, clean sheets, clean towels. Have a safety deposit box in the room which is useful. Staffs are friendly. Super convenient as its walkable distance to chapel bridge (tourist spot). Lots of restaurants nearby.
