Had to pay for parking since I was told it is not possible to park in front of the house, during my stay multiple other guests have parked in front of the house, I don’t like this kind of “unfair” treatment

Some pictures on the wall were very ugly, for me it didn't really bother me, but I can imagine that for some people it might even be a bit disturbing. The bed mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, but that is really personal preference, I guess.

Everything! So clean, fresh and uncluttered with perfect location with a lovely lake view. East access to path around lake and buses to town centre were frequent with bus stop just a few metres away.

We didn't have the best room on the front, but it was probably the cheapest, which suited us. The aircon unit was big and noisy, but effective in the heat. Options for tea and coffee were provided for just one person. Communications and check-in didn't run smoothly for me. I felt I was an inconvenience. Everything was supposedly automated, but it didn't work as expected. They were confident, but I was concerned. However, it did work out ok in the end. I would stay again.

Great location, close to regular bus service that was easy to use. We also had a pleasant 20-minute walk into Luzern alongside the lake, away from the road. It was nice to have the fridge stocked with complimentary beer, water, and soft drinks. There was also fresh fruit available in the lobby and snacks in our room. Better than most hotels!

The self-check-in process didn't go well.

The room was tidy and clean. And it has a beautiful neighborhood. Not too far from the city center (20 min walk along the lakeside took me to the center) but also enough far to be quiet.

Description of “lake view” should have read “partial lake view”. The lake was to the side of the room, partly obscured.

Nice location, near (but not on) lakeside, easy to get into town centre on public transport (free travel for hotel guests). Clean, spacious, comfortable room.

Sloping ceilings so may be something to think about but it didn’t bother my husband and I at all.

The location at the end of the Luzern promenade on the lake was amazing! Room 9 had a great patio with a gorgeous view of the lake. One of the only small hotels we stayed in that had AC (portable unit). Given it was 30 degrees, that was much appreciated!

Vila Maria is very nice historic building, very nicely refurbished, with some very nice designer pieces. It is located in very safe area, by the lake, not in the busy part, but you can hear traffic a bit if you open your windows. Check-in was smooth, even though I had to call and finish it with help of the owners. All information was provided ahead. Parking place is right opposite the building, across the street.

Clean and stylish accommodation. Check-in is self-service but very efficient and help was on hand over the phone or at the nearby associated hotel. Free minibar, snacks and use of kitchen facilities and garden. Lovely 20 minute walk into Lucerne by the beautiful lakeside. Parking available opposite at reasonable daily rate.
