Very nice hotel, close to the city center and with an amazing view on the lake. My room was newly refurbished, it was very nice and clean. Communication with staff was smooth and they were also very helpful. Hotel has an amazing rooftop terrasse with a great view on the lake and mountains, unfortunately the weather was nice only the last day of my stay so I could not enjoy it so much, but it is one other reason to visit again. Highly recommended

Breakfast finishes quite early. The windows during the storm did not block out the noise. It seemed like one window did not seal properly since if you pushed on it the noise cut out.

Great location, nice view (but no balcony on 2nd floor), the room seemed to have been re-decorated since I last stayed, seemed more modern and cleaner. Great to have a coffee machine and mini bar both in the room. Room was spacious.

The building is a bit older. Meaning, while laying down in the bed in the evening, you can hear water running through the pipes, You can hear some of the floor creaking, etc. Our bed was a bit small- but normal for European standards. Overall, a few observations. But not really complaints. We were very pleased, overall.

The view with the balcony was outstanding. Easy walking distance to everything. Right in the hub of stores, restaurants, etc. The was a phenomenal breakfast the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely the breakfast was. We definitely would love to come back on account of the breakfast, alone. The bus pass Ticino pass is very helpful, as well.

We have one singer person room, it's really nice and cozy, but it doesn't smell fresh. Not sure if it's because not often used. Windows are a bit old, it's not very sound proof. Below the hotel it's a busy road by the lake.

Amazing view to the lake and very convenient location with nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast room is also very beautiful and good options.

The soundproofing of the rooms could be better. We could hear water running when the guests next door showered or flushed the toilet. The breakfast that was offered could also be better. A very limited selection.

My ONLY disappoinment was that the side of the bed closest to the bathroom had a bit of a saggy mattress, so I woke up with a sore back. We were on the 2nd floor, in the room directly in front of the elevator.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Easy access to everything, fabulous views from the balcony. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We appreciated the room. Enjoyed the decor & beauty of the artwork around the hotel. Most of the staff were excellent with people. We were able to do alot in our 2 days in beautiful Lugano! (A fabulous Boat ride, funicular, delicious meals, & unexpectedly; we enjoyed a parade from our balcony!) I want to return! Thank you!

The bathroom was spotlessly clean and everything you need was there. It also had not been fundamentally renovated in decades. Nowadays, we are all used to having big showers and heated towel racks etc.

The central location, the helpful staff speaking three languages, the breakfast, the service. Room service even folded my sleeping t-shirt and tucked it under the pillow. And great views of the lake.
