Having to walk passed all of the whores in the street day and night.

We would have liked to know that this street is the red light district and you are in the middle of several brothels. Having said that, the property itself was good and excellent value for money.

No AC so you have to open window, then you hear music and people outside. Personel not speaking English, but no many problems with understanding each other. There is whore street outside, but after few "not interested, bye" they gave up. However I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people with children.

Very close to fair. Old town and cathedral are at 15-20min walking distance. Taxi can drive you next to entrance. Very good price for Switzerland. WiFi was excellent, fast and reliable. Room was clean, daily renewal of bathroom supplies and bed sheets.

The area is like red light district, I didnt feel safe and comfortable there. I wouldnt dare to walk around at night. The ladies where everywhere around already at 8 in the morning. This is not a real hotel, there is no proper reception and there is no stuff there. I didnt know what to do with the key at the end so I have just left it in the room.

I liked the room, it was like on the pictures, clean and fine.

This was booked by my work as I was attending a conference and everything else was booked up. Everything in the hotel was terrible. The bathroom was terrible. The bed was terrible (I literally slept in my clothes on top of the duvet to avoid touching it). The hallway was terrible. The entrance system was terrible. The communication was terrible. The room was way too hot with no way of turning it down. The fridge was unbelievably loud. The area was terrible. And it is SURROUNDED by prostitutes (right outside the front door). Who knows what goes on in the 'hotel'. Totally unacceptable. This place was basically a brothel and it is advertised as a hotel. Utterly, utterly disgusting.

    Nothing.

It's in the middle of the red-light area - as a single male traveler it's very unpleasant to walk through the large group of females working there and offering their services. Shower head should have been cleaned more often.

Room was tidy and kinda pretty, WiFi was really good. Little stove, large fridge and coffee-making facilities available. Lots of hangers.

The location of the hotel is right in the red light zone, upon arrival a welcoming committee of about 20 hookers wondered who I was, a couple of the ladies come to look through the window of the taxi checking if they had business arrive or just someone for the hotel. Since I wanted to have nothing to do w them they lost interest but it was slightly uncomfortable.

The room was good value for money. I have not met the staff.

First it is in the Red-Light District, so do not be surprised. WIFI did not work. There was no one at the reception, and the lady from the next-door bar had to call someone to open the door for me and give me the key. Overall the room was somewhat shabby. Even the bottle of water, offered in the room was already open and someone drank out of it. Not recommended.

Disgusting hotel in official prostitution street
    • Business trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Single Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

The street where this hotel is located is filled with prostitutes which will try you sell sex everytime you enter or leave the hotel. It does not matter what time is it (from early morning until late night). These ladies are rather aggressive and will try to physically stop you by grabbing. You just have to keep marching and listen them shouting at you. The sex trade is 24h / 7 days per week and rather noisy. The noise combined with poor sound insulation made it difficult to sleep. The room was dirty (including, among other things, dried vomit stains on the carpeted floor), broken (toilet seat was partly loose) and as a bonus there was mold in the bathroom. Also, the price was too high also due to CHF<->EUR conversion rate. I would recommend looking for hotels in St.Louis (France), which are far cheaper and better.

I sensed that I was not in a good place when the receptionist appeared in the shortest hot pants and a low glitzy top imaginable. She suggested I went into the bar to have a drink with the girls. Needing a drink I went in and had four offers before my pint arrived and another four before I hastily drank it and left. The hotel, bar and street were teaming with prostitutes all hours of the day and night. Not for the faint hearted. I didn't fell safe for my entire visit.
