Location, the totally relaxed private vibe. So quiet. Feeding fish off the pier! Desiree the Manager, was just the kindest sweetest person one could ever hope for and one of the main reasons I chose this place! All the staff were lovely and kind. We learnt how to husk a coconut!

Nothing bad at all, everything was perfect

It had everything we needed and more. Close to Muri, beautiful beach and beautiful facilities and the hosts were so amazing and super friendly

Can’t think of anything we loved it all!

Exceptional hospitality, super friendly and helpful. From the initial email correspondence right through to organising an airport pick up, rental vehicle, recommending activities and allowing late check out and a place to shower before our late night flight. Apartment was big with all we needed for our stay. There was plenty of breeze flowing through and the sound of crashing waves and the rustling of the coconut trees made us sleep very well. The lagoon in front offered turtles, fishes and a massive stingray and almost daily we saw whales further out to sea playing around. The pool was lovely and cool and the kayaks were fun to explore the lagoon in.

Honestly it fit the whole works of a holiday, just the wifi at the pool area not in the rooms. But this made the fams stay off phones while in the rooms lol

Sign on door and the keys were in apartment, got a second key as well as there were a few of us.

The units are a little bit dated but they had everything in them that we needed.

It was amazing! Desiree & staff were very welcoming & helpful. The kayaks & snorkelling gear were great. The location is awesome with the beach a few steps from our door & the jetty & lagoon. We saw turtles & mantarays & fish in the lagoon. The pool was great to swim in & relax beside as well.

Spacious rooms, nice view, clean and quiet. They provide filtered water and fresh fruit on arrival which was a nice touch.

We did not have a car so going to Muri means hopping on the bus or a 25 min walk. Wifi not working in the rooms - you have to go up to the pool to get a signal. TV (not that we watched any) only has 1 channel. No washing machine available at the complex although there was a bucket, washing powder and clothes airer in the apartment.

Very well appointed apartments. Everything you might need! Even a little dishwasher. Well kept grounds, quiet and peaceful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice pool and BBQ hut. Also enjoyed the apartment's covered porch. Kayaks and life jackets / snorkeling gear free to use. j

Had a dishwasher but would have preffered if it was a washing machine

Check in & help provided by Desiree outstanding. The room was comfortable plus there was a jetty for fishing off. Nice views of the ocean.

Quiet location situated on beach, you could fish on the jetty, use kayaks and swim. Had a late check in time, note left on door able to settle in, arrived about midnight. Family swam in pool and walked around area. Lots of space in apartment. Two showers available in 3 bedroom facility.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at Avana Waterfront Apartments.

The location was amazing, the rooms comfortable and clean, the facilities excellent, the staff wonderful. The perfect place to stay.

We didn't buy the extra WIFI, so my sons had to go out to the pool to get coverage, but I understand it is probably expensive to get coverage for hte whole property.

Desiree was amazing, so helpful and full of great advice and suggestions, really appreciated the late checkout and the facilities were great.

We had to leave and go home 🥲

Awesome location with a fantastic jetty you can see tropical fish and turtles from. Awesome pool, nice and relaxed areas. Can swim off jetty and have free kayaks. Staff were exceptional, went out of their way to make our stay above awesome. They even baked a cake for the birthday girl. Highly recommend for a stress free relaxing holiday with lovely friendly staff.

Not really sound proof from next door apartments. Some wear and tear as it’s definitely an older building.
