Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandHad to leave at the end of the holiday. To be honest nothing to complain about.
The location was stunning, the accomodation had a lot of character and appreciated the building materials and decor. The equipment was great, kayaks, snorkels etc and the hosts and staff were very friendly. Was 30th anniversary and it knocked it out the park.

Everything. One of our fav places in Raro. Our family stayed next door at Moana Sands so we could all be together. Pa the host is so lovely, very helpful! No longer do breakfast but you get a breakfast pack in your room. Room has a full kitchen so could cook meals for the grandkids from next door. Right on the beach, with your own snorkelling gear and kayak. Best snorkelling spot on the island. 10min drive to Muri beach. Right next to Charlies Room is HUGE! Would 100% return again!

The breakfast hamper on arrival was delicious and Pa went out of his way to find us pawpaw. Highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed 8 nights here in June 2024 and loved our beachfront bungalow, Eke. Highly recommend. The bungalow felt roomy and we loved the airflow throughout via levered windows. There were many seating and lighting options. There was a fully equipped kitchen (which we did not use) and excellent eating options a quick walk from the property. Our favourite was the Little Polynesian restaurant a few hundred metres away. We made use of the kayaks and snorkelling gear - all high quality and well maintained. It was very handy to be able to wash our clothes in the laundry room too.

New ZealandWe just found it so dark inside, the bedroom in the daytime even with all the lights on we would have to use our phone torches to find anything.

AustraliaNothing, its perfect as it is. The fact that this resort has an island vibe allows for small problems to be non problems.
These bungalows were absolutely perfect for us, the view and location are superb, the fact that there are only 5 bungalows means that it very quiet and relaxing and low key. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, the beach is really close, just a few steps away, we had two kayaks, life jackets and paddles ready for us. The decor is quite dark due to the walls being woven bamboo, but this added to the cool quirky retro island vibe, the bedroom was a little too dark but rather that than stark white generic hotel decor. The little kitchen was more than adequate to cook the fresh tuna we bought from the boats at the quay in town, there is a lady selling fruit from her house 2 doors down. We ate most nights at the Little Polynesian resort a short walk down the road and that was superb. I think the view from the front verandah is quite unbeatable, to sit and watch the waves rolling in over the reef while sipping a glass of chardy is such a treat. I thoroughly recommend the Beach Bungalows and will definitely stay there again.

New ZealandThe brochure said we could get coffee in the library/ seating area where it could be possible to meet other guests but it was not operating.
The beachfront is lovely. Our beachfront room was very Somerset Maugham. Bamboo walls, ceilings lined with fabric. There was a nice welcome basket with fruit, coffee and tea ,muesli, milk, juice and bread and butter. The Little Polynesian is close by for lovely meals.
