There was a bad smell in the bathrooms, maybe because it is an old building, but I think that you should try any solution to fix that.

The location and the restaurant Calicanto service. Mrs Clara was exceptional. Also the service at the front desk by Maximo, Cristal, Brian and Carlos was excellent.

Breakfast was nice. good selection. Fresh fruit each morning. Comfy beds. Walter the bar manager was friendly and had great customer service for a relaxing evening watching sports on TV and enjoyed a snack meal.

Wifi was infuriatingly slow and intermittent. Getting more than 1 mbps was rare. Wouldn’t choose the hotel is you are planning to work from there. A/C and minifridge are LOUD

Metro Station (underground/subway) is literally around the corner, shopping district and currency exchange is also really close. Shower was hot and had great water pressure

No complaints really. The room we had was a large suite with two AC systems. We had to experiment with them in order to not be too cold at night. Otherwise everything else was fine. We recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location and friendly staff. The hotel is located on a pedestrian walkway and is away from busy traffic that is on nearby streets. I recommend that people stay at this hotel when they are in Santiago. A Papa Johns is located next door just in case one gets hungry for American food.

Our shower head was not adjustable so the spray was a bit high and went to the opposite end of the tub.

Breakfast was fine and available in a timely manner. Our room was made up each day and had plently of hot water and good AC.

Initially we had a double room and it was quite small so consider that in your room choice. I’d also ask for a higher floor as the second floor had a bit of street noise. Limited restaurant choice in the area after 8pm.

Good value for the money paid. It is a well run mid-range hotel in a central heritage location. The king room was quite large and while basic, the breakfast was sufficient.
